Boobs only grew in 1st trimester?

Hello all! This is my first post on here. It's my first pregnancy and my doc is probably so tired of me calling her once a week over silly things lol.

My Boobs were a C cup prepregnancy. Coming out of my 1st trimester they were a full DD! Now I'm starting to notice they are shrinking. I could care less their size, I'm just wondering if this is normal?

    Could very well be. Your body is adjusting and hormone levels are changing throughout pregnancy and beyond. Some people don't see any change in breast size while others see several cup sizes (and everything between).

    I'm a B cup. Had about 10% growth in 1st tri, now 24 weeks and still a B cup... I'm wondering when they are actually going to grow???

    With DS I grew one full cup size in the first trimester and that was it until after birth. So far I am the same size but a little more full. I may actually need to go up a size at this point but I am not as big as I was the first time around but they are still sore.

    I read somewhere that the growth to support breast feeding is done by 2nd trimester. That said, I gain weight during the whole pregnancy, so mine do grow a bit more after that. Once your milk comes in post partum, they will grow again.

    Mine didn't grow during 1st tri. They are fuller now but not yet requiring a new bra. If they continue like this I might actually need some soon. I was a 32B (32C accoding to victoria secret) but with padded bras pre-pregnancy. My nipples still get pretty sore most of the time too. Loving my fuller ladies and so does DH :)

    I wish mine would stop growing. I'm on my second set of bigger bras :/ ain't nobody got time (or money) for that!

    With my first I went from a 32B to a 34D. Once my milk came in I was in DD territory. I haven't really grown this time around luckily, but I'm filling out my D bras better.

    With DS, mine never changed size at all, even through breastfeeding.  So far, with this one, mine haven't changed yet either.

    Anyway, my boobs grew and made all my old bras useless. 32A/B to 36C. DH loves it, of course, but I'm not so pleased. I loved my small perky boobs! And I loved being able to go bra-less if I wanted.

    This exactly. Apparently we're boob twins. 


    Also, that is definitely a phrase I never would have expected to use in my life.

    Me too, of course my SO loves these new boobs and I thought they were fun for a few months, but I miss my small ones now. Is it naïve to hope that they return with their same form and perkiness?...

    I essentially stayed the same size while pregnant with DS1. I went from a 34DDD to a 32G (yay for losing inches!).

    This time around I started at a 32DD and now I'm back to a very full 32G. I'm expecting a little bit more once my milk comes in. Either that or they'll just be fuller up top, since my chest is front and bottom heavy.

    Mine stayed the same in the first tri, but started growing in the 2nd. I was a 34C, not sure what I am now. I'm still wearing my old bras, but it probably wouldn't hurt to get some bigger ones. I have implants and really hoping my boobs go back to their original size. They are too big and heavy right now. Never thought I'd say that!! Haha, (pre-implants I was an A cup).

    My less than As are now a little more than A... Stupid half sizes... but my nipples are huge!! What's up with that!?!

    @loveymay I got implants after baby #2. I was just a little larger than an a cup before I wore a 32d at Victoria secret. After surgery I was a 32ddd. Which is s full c. When I had #3 my boobs grew to 32f. They went back down after with no issues and still looked great. I think they looked a little more natural in fact. I'm hoping for the same this time around after baby 4 gets here

    This is reassuring! Mine have maybe gotten a little more full (at least DH says so) but aside from that haven't grown and they are relatively small to begin with. Hoping this isn't a sign that I'll have trouble breastfeeding/producing enough breastmilk!

    I'm on the same boat and this possibility has been concerning me also.

    @spatter1 @thaisac1 no fear, smaller chested mamas - breast size has nothing to do with your ability to produce milk and breastfeed, it just may impact storage capacity between feedings.
