Not showing yet 11.5 weeks

Hello,
I'm due July 1 (should switch groups maybe..but close enough?).  I can't feel my uterus getting any bigger or see it at all I don't think.  Is that normal?  I still feel like throwing up in the morning and usually at night, and am super tired and my boobs hurt.  Anyone else the same?

Re: Not showing yet 11.5 weeks

  • Ya, I'm 14 weeks and I'm not showing, just feeling bloated and pudgy. With my son I didn't show until like 20 weeks. There are variations of normal for every pregnancy

  • Is this for first pregnancy? If so, you probably won't be able to. With my first I did not show until about 16 weeks. With this pregnancy my stomach muscles have already separated once so it was much easier and faster this time around.
  • If this is your first child, it's totally normal.  You may not show for a while.  It's all dependent upon your body.

  • I have a big belly at 12 weeks (my second) but still can't really tell what is bloat and pudge and what is baby.  I was totally flat stomached for my first until maybe 16 weeks- but I think I've gained more weight this time so different factors all around.  I hope at least some of my protruding gut is uterus/baby-related.
  • It was over 20 weeks before I showed with my first. And I'm pretty sure that I was the only one who could notice.
  • I didn't show until 17 weeks with my first.

I'm almost 12 weeks with triplets and have a tiny bump.

  • 15 weeks with my third and just barely showing!
  • I'm almost 16 weeks and have nothing but bloat. I've been able to feel my uterus for about 2 weeks now, it's slowly moving up but not out.

  • This is my first and I didn't feel my uterus until 15 weeks. And then my belly sort of popped out overnight. My DH and friends notice but I'm sure I look normal to strangers. We've been taking weekly pictures and there's a big difference between week 7 and 15!!
  • I bumped out a little around week 12 but since then I don't think the bump has grown at all.  Each body is different, I wouldn't worry about it.
  • Ditto what PPs have already said. Everyone is different. I think it also has a lot to do with your individual body - whether or not you're a FTM, how long or short your torso is, how strong your abdominal muscles are, etc.

I am a FTM, fairly slim and have a very short torso. Up until about 11-12 weeks it was all bloat for me. Once I hit 12 weeks, the bloat went away for the most part and I could feel my uterus starting to pop out. I'm now 14+3 and definitely have a little belly starting to make an appearance - to the point where people who know me can tell a difference. To strangers, it's still at that stage where they're wondering whether if I'm pregnant or just fluffy.
  • I'm 15+5 and I can start to feel my bump but to everyone else, even people I know, are commenting that I don't look pregnant yet :( My belly is starting to protrude a little bit, but nothing too noticeable yet - just to people close to me. I'm only 5'2" and a touch overweight but I've read that it is very normal for FTM to not show until up to 20+ weeks!
  • Totally normal. I didn't show till around 20w with my first and probably 15 with my second. I'm 11+5 and my belly is just starting to round out. But I wouldn't even call it showing. Just changing at this point.

  • The uterus isn't even large enough to grow above the pelvic bone until 12 weeks, so it's all normal. I'm 15 weeks and not showing at all. I still fit in all my pre-pregnancy clothes (though they're a tiny bit more snug).

  • I showed early, but it's totally normal for most FTMs not to have anything noticeable until the end of the first tri/start of the second. Take a pic now and in two weeks, bet you'll see a huge change!
  • I'm 13+2 days, long torso & not showing a thing.. Except some bloat at the end of the day! Can't wait to see or feel something! :) good luck!
  • Embrace it. Soon you won't be able to get off the couch without propping yourself up with both your arms behind you.
I started showing with my first around 16 weeks. I am 15+4 now and I have an obvious bump that showed up pretty much overnight a week ago.

  • If this is your first that's totally normal. Actually even stm can show later. I showed early with my first three and this one I just popped out last week (12 1/2 weeks).
Enjoy it, your bump will be here before you know it:)
  • Thanks everybody..it is my first.  I figured it was normal but am pretty paranoid!  I feel like there i nothing in there even though I saw it on an ultrasound. My belly is a bit bigger, but its more like a thanksgiving food baby situation.
  • It's seriously amazing everything that's going on in there when you're a FTM and how little it shows on the outside. Completely normal. I didn't feel like I was fully showing until after my anatomy scan with DS...up until then it was just bloated/looking a little chubby. You'll get that cute belly very very soon.
