Constant belly aches?

I'm not talking cramps. Which I've been having. But about a week before my positive test (I wasn't really expecting a positive) I've had terrible stomach aches. I eat decent. I've cut out soda pretty much. (I tend to cheat on sundays aka dinner at my family's) eat enough fiber etc. Any advice on things to help, or is it just 'one of those things' that will pass? Oh and I've also been upping my water intake!

Pregnancy slows down your digestive system. I get aches that I can directly attribute to eating too much (heartburn because my body can't digest as fast as I'm eating) and needing to poop. Keep upping the water and consider eating small frequent meals. Try to avoid fatty/greasy and/or acidic foods as these can lead to reflux.

  • I have had some funky pains too.  Mine are indigestion and some twinge right under my left rib, which feels like an ache but for a split second.  They are so annoying.
  • I get these quite frequently, i asked my doctor and she said that it's just reallllllly bad gas. She said it would most likely be associated to something I ate or eat. They can be extremely painful and last a while. before I knew I was pregnant I craved spicy food and I ate spicy food quite regularly. But now I get that crazy pain stomach ache, nausea thing going again. So that's no longer a thing. Just an idea, I'm sure it's fine, my doctor didn't say it was bad. Good luck!
  • I was having pain/cramps and i went to the ER it turn out baby is ok but i have a UTI and that why i been cramping ..
  • I have a history of acute gastritis. I've not needed my Prevacid daily for years until last week. I've taken it 3 days in a row and I can still feel my AG creeping up on me.
