Are you still experiencing morning sickness?

I've had moderate morning sickness since week 5. I'm 12+2 and when I hit 12 weeks suddenly my morning sickness stopped. It was very disconcerting at first. I still feel pregnant, no spotting etc...but I couldn't believe how one day I'm ill off and on all day and the next I'm fine. I went all afternoon without eating a snack. I usually have to eat something every 2 hours or I feel nauseated. Did anyone else have this experience or are you still experiencing morning sickness?

I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow and I'm praying that its the magic day like everyone says. A close friend of mine said the same thing--that week 12 was just magic for her. Here's hoping because I feel like I'm in a committed relationship with my bathroom.

  • Still all day nausea, belching & bloating here.  13 weeks.  With my previous two, I didn't start to feel better until 14 weeks, and felt totally human again at 16 weeks:(
    Count your blessings!!
  • Nausea has stopped for the most part but still getting headaches every once and a while. Anyone else experiencing that? They used to be daily and worse in my first trimester. Never got any with my son.
  • Morning sickness? No.

All day sickness? Still alive and well.

With my first, other than a brief reprieve around maybe week 15, I was sick for most of six months. Then the third trimester rolled around and I had terrible reflux that also made me never want to eat.

Apparently, for me, pregnancy is just the most effective weight loss plan out there.

  • I feel a little queasy now and then and still don't have my full appetite back yet. DH said I was looking like I'd lost a lot of weight and that my legs looked "too thin"

  • I'm 12+3 and I'm stll queasy in the morning. It's the worst when I brush my teeth, my gag reflex is so sensitive. Saturday when I was 12 even, I felt much better no morning sickness all day.

  • All day sickness here at 14 weeks and terrible headaches. With my son it didn't let up until 16-17 weeks so I'm hoping for sooner but expecting the worst
  • Better but still barfing usually every other day at 15+2 here. With my twins I was sick from 4-24 and 28-33 weeks when I had them.
  • Thankfully it has left. I'll be 16 weeks on Thursday. My stomach is a little icky feeling and I'd wish it would stop. The baby wakes up 6am, I need to resume my 3 cups of coffee for survival.

  • 15 weeks here and my sickness has actually become worse in the last 3 weeks  before I was just nauseous, now I'm vomiting, frequently. It's weird too because I'm fine one second, and then it comes out of no where. I'm seriously hoping it gets better soon!
  • My all day sickness is still here but zofran really helps.

  • Definitely better but still nauseous, headaches are more frequent now (almost daily) and brushing my teeth is still guaranteed to make me gag. I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow. Boobs are still pretty sors too. And now I have a weird zapping feeling in my groin. Fun times.
  • Almost 16 weeks and it's still going strong. I can eat a greater variety of things though. For a while it was only fresh fruit, now I can eat salads and cheese also. In small amounts.
  • All day sickness here. Constantly since about Week 7. Last 2 weeks have been horrible. Most mornings I want to crawl back to bed and not get up. So sick. I'm 14 weeks tomorrow.
  • My all day nausea started at week 7. I got a break for a week and a half starting on Thanksgiving. It's back but not every day, and sometimes I'm fine all day but then vomit before bed. I'm hoping there's an end in sight.
  • My worst was 6-9 weeks and then I felt generally better, but still icky. Last Thursday I started feeling a lot better. Then I almost threw up at the kitchen table during dinner last night. Go figure.

  • I'm 12 tomorrow and I have to eat every 1.5-2 hours other wise I feel awful. It's better than it was but I wouldn't call it good by any means.

  • I'm 14 weeks on Friday. My all day shaky nausea waves have let up but still really struggling with food aversions and random one off nausea bouts. Worst symptoms are headaches and exhaustion/insomnia.
  • I only had nausea and food aversions from week 6 to week 12. Now at 13 weeks I feel absolutely back to normal. Don't worry, this is very common. Baby is A ok!

I'm almost 16 wks and still throw up every morning....I feel better during the day after taking unisom and B6, but if I miss a dose it's bad! If yours is gone, count yourself lucky!!! :)
  • At 12w2d I felt amazing- big breakthrough- and at 12w3d (yestrday) I felt the.worst.ever. But I think it's on the up and up... everyone is different.
  • I was just about to post a thread on this until I saw this thread... The past two days I have thrown up first thing in the morning. I literally get out of bed to use the rest room and let the dogs out and I get sick. Its strange because I don't feel nauseous and in the first trimester I threw up a total of 4 times in 13 weeks. I'm 15 weeks now and have thrown up twice and its all stomach acid and water because i keep a bottle on my nightstand. Its so frustrating because I didn't get morning sickness too bad when I was in the first trimester. Anyone else experiencing more sickness in second trimester? lol

  • I'm 12+5 and thought I was done with the MS when it went away just over a week ago. I was naseous yesterday morning but I assumed it was just nerves before the NT scan. I'm going to say no since breakfast came back up this morning....wtf body. Not cool!
  • Yep, still got MS. Good morning, 12 weeks.
  • 13 weeks today and all day nausea is still here and annoying me daily! *knock on wood* I haven't been vomiting as much lately as normal which is good.  It's seems like every 2 weeks I get new symptoms but the other don't go away!! So now I have nausea, acid reflux, headaches, cramping, RLP, gas and the greatest one of all is being hungry a lot but not being able to eat because of the nausea! I am completely jealous of you guys that are feeling human already!
  • 13 weeks tomorrow and all-day sickness is still going strong - since week 6.  I have only vomited once (2 days ago), but the constant nausea is exhausting.  I'm constantly snacking, but never feeling better.  Count yourself lucky if it magically disappeared!

  • When I hit 12 weeks, mine basically disappeared, as well. With my last pregnancy, I think it took longer, more like 15 weeks. With my first, I honestly don't remember, though I do remember it being at its worst around 10 weeks. They are all different, but consider yourself fortunate this time! I know I do!!

@nikid27 - I get the headaches too and it was the same with both my other two pregnancies. For me, it is always about water. I have to drink so much that I'm peeing non-stop, but it's the only thing that keeps them away the whole day!

Girl at least you got it in a good place. I was stuck in my car and couldn't reach my bag in time so... I had to swallow it... *shiver*

    @adiaz132003: Oh....my. Bless your heart!

    Agreed, @laurenm2123.
  • 14 weeks tomorrow and have had only 2 gallons Gatorade and a few bagels for the last 3.5 days. Some of it stayed down. And I have been puking since before 3 weeks/ before I should have even been able to get a BFP.
  • My nausea has eased up some. I don't really feel sick just kinda blah. Not that much sounds good to eat. I usually just force myself to eat something. The headaches however are kicking into high gear. I had them bad with my last and getting the same with this one. I keep getting these Aura Migraines. They are horrible. My hand goes numb, part of my nose and lip then I get really a bad migraine. My head has hurt for 2 day without much relief. Anyone else experience these?
