Registry completion coupon

Hi!

Heading to buy buy baby to use my completion code this weekend. Anyone know if I can get items not on my registry and still use it or do I need to add it to my registry first? Silly question but I don't like awkward social situations and want to plan ahead

Re: Registry completion coupon

  • I'm pretty sure you have to add to the registry. At least that's the way Target's completion coupons work. We don't have a Buy Buy Baby within a 2 hr radius so I'm not familiar with their policy, but it makes sense since it's a registry completion code.

  • I don't use Buy Buy Baby either, but I have one with Amazon and Babys R Us and they both require items to be on the registry for the discount to apply. I would say it's a safer bet to assume you need to add things to your registry first.
  • I used my completion code and everything needed to be on the registry but to be honest they were pretty flexible. I found something I liked and they let me add it.

Just to let you know, they sent me a 10% off completion code but they honored /matched my amazon 15% off completion coupon. The cashier and manager told me that they are changing it to 15% off so they gave that to me.

I also had bed bath and beyond 20% off entire purchase coupon and 20% off single item coupons and they used that over the 15% off for majority of my items (like my chicco keyfit 30). They used the 15% OFF completion coupon on my uppababy Vista 2015 because the 20% off coupon excludes uppababy and others like bugaboo etc.
  • I made my purchases through the customer service register. They basically add all of the items in your order to your registry without you having to do a thing. I didn't even know they were doing it until I went back to look at my registry and everything I had purchased was added.
  • I did it a few weekends ago at BBB and thought I'd have to go around with the gun adding things to the registry as I went. The lady at the registry area said that I didn't need to do that and that basically everything I bought that day would be 10% off. You can also use the 20% ones on bigger ticket items as long as they are not excluded brands.
