This is my second pregnancy and I'm paranoid that I'm starting to show. I'm only 5 weeks and I know how crazy that sounds. I didn't start to show until 20 weeks with my first pregnancy. My son is 14 months old and I have a pretty standard athletic build. I just signed a contract with a new employer and I want to wait as long as possible to tell them the news. When did people start to notice during your second pregnancy? Since I had a child relatively recently could that make me show sooner?

    Many women do show sooner in their second pregnancy than their first. I'm not sure if the time between them matters, probably if your muscles hadn't bounced all the way back. If you feel like your showing at 5wks, it's just bloat. Even if you start showing a little earlier than you hope you can probably hide it for a bit longer than that

    You can show sooner with a second pregnancy.  However, at 5 weeks, he baby is the size of a pea and still tucked far in your pelvic bone.  You are likely just experiencing 'blump' (bloat bump).

    Same boat as @greendogs1993! I have a 13 month old and some serious bloat going on! I'm thinking it will go down in a couple weeks before the real baby belly comes!
