Why?
i had a vaginal delivery. i was prescribed narcotic pain meds but i was put on a 2 week driving restriction before it was decided to give me that script so it wasn't due to that. I am fine and had no major complications. Anybody have an answer to this?
Re: No driving?
Maybe because of sleep deprivation? Lol
Curious myself to see if other ladies have been told this.

I apparently am free to vacuum, though, so I'm a little jealous of some of you...
I was told 2 weeks too, with a no complication delivery and no narcotics. My ob said it was for insurance purposes. Apparently if in an accident within that timeframe insurance companies may not cover you due to inability to prove when harm was done (during l&d or in the accident). It doesn't completely make sense to me but my ob said she's seen it happen before.
I drove to the grocery store yesterday and regretted it majorly. Maybe it has to do with your stitch situation down under? I only had minor tearing but I'm not gonna lie - I was glad I was by myself (no baby) because I saw stars a couple times.
