Snug while sleeping in crib?

DS likes to be snug when he sleeps. He's been sleeping in his swing like a champ since he's been born, but he's quickly getting too big for it. Any suggestions on how to make him feel snug while in his crib? I did buy the magic sleep suit but he doesn't seem to like it too much while he's awake, and I haven figured out how to get him in it after he's fallen asleep. He also doesn't like to be swaddled

It's hard when we both work full time and he sleeps so good in his swing

Re: Snug while sleeping in crib?

  • My sister-in-law rolls up blankets real tight and places them around her daughter to keep her snug. Apparently it keeps her from flailing around and waking up.

  • If your LO doesn't like the suit. Try a sleep sac my LO has been sleeping in one since he was born. For the first couple weeks we had the halo sac that swaddled his arms in but now of course we don't do that anymore he hasn't liked that since he's been about a month. I think there roomy and snug enough to make them comfortable. There's thinner ones and thicker material ones. I would try a sack we have a bunch of different ones. My LO is a belly sleeper now. Well he sleeps all over the place one minute belly next minute side than back he's always switching it up while he's sleeping at night. Hes a mover
  • He went from that to this. I'd also try the rolling up in blankets. They use to make wedges that you could put on the sides of baby to keep them in one spot idk if they still do I would look on Amazon or BRU and see if they do. A wedge would keep your LO snuggle. My sister had one with her daughter when she was little but that was 8 years ago.
  • We use the love to dream, love to swaddle zip suit
They can still move around in it. My DS used to stand up in it and jump around the cot
LO has been an excellent sleeper
