I have Hypothyroid for 10 years now. I was on synthroid for 8-9 years.. I hated it and I was miserable. I was switched to armour at the beginning of this year and I am in LOVE with it. But my OBGYN wants me back to sythyroid. I don't see how making me miserable is going to help my baby. I mean I ate non stop and gained well over 20 lbs on sythyroid. How would me being well over 200lbs in my third trimester later help my child??? I have done a little research and saw that many doctors do this but with no explanation. I have also seen where some doctors rather their patients on armour. Anyone else in this situation? I am already (its been 2 weeks) gaining weight, always hungry, always tired and my hear is having palpitations again.
