Let's face it, we are either all overdue, or due within 2 or so weeks. Normal everyday tasks are becoming difficult.
Let's share the things we've accomplished this morning, and maybe even share a few laughs at how it's "sad" that it's considered an accomplishment.
Let's see, my husband got paid this AM so I paid the bills, created our budget, fed both my kids, got them dressed, got dressed myself & PUT ON A BRA, and made my coffee. Just now sitting down to enjoy it at 7:15am.
Eventually I'll have to put my shoes on to take my son to the bus stop. Oh how I wish I had slip ons. :-)
What have you ladies accomplished this morning? :-)
Re: Monday Morning Accomplishments
I second needing slip on shoes but it's raining here and all I have are flip flops
Then probably return to the couch for Netflix and chocolate
I mean, this morning I got up and got DH's crap ready for work (breakfast, coffee). Usually I have to make him a lunch, but he's having a potluck so yesterday I made 35 mint chocolate chip cookies. That was an accomplishment because I had to clean the kitchen before I could even start baking - and then after baking I had to clean the kitchen again!
I like distracting myself as I near my due date with crap to do - so today I have my OB appointment, then I have to mail packages to my nieces for Christmas, and then I have to go to the grocery store. Who knows, maybe all that walking will start labor.
I think every night now I wake up to pee 3 or 4 times, performing a log roll every time to get up out of bed. I also change positions from side to side every so often and it takes everything in me to do so. These feats make me proud, especially getting out of bed without cramping.
I have one last christmas gift to buy and then finish wrapping. Hopefully today will be that day.
Good thing is I live in California where flip flops/sandals are my everyday shoes pretty much, especially since anything else probably wouldn't fit i.e. my boots
modschetter, I count that as an accomplishment, as well! I read a comment on a FB post about cervical checks about doing them yourself if you really want them done instead of the doctor doing them. My thoughts were, "I can barely reach to wipe myself well after I pee. How in the hell would I be able to reach all the way up as far as my doctor does to check my own cervix???? No thanks, I'll leave that up to her."

But yes...... Rolling over and getting out of bed....... So hard!!
My body has learned to run on just a few hours of sleep.
Then, I cleaned 2/3 bathrooms, have two sets of bedding in the wash, cleaned up our bedroom (which I had folded clothes everywhere,) unpacked a few more boxes from moving over a month ago, and now I'm thinking about eating something! Yay us!!

Other days I'm back and forth to the store 10x for our basement reno, carrying things up and down stairs and taking extra walks when I have the energy.
