Dr. Appointment updates? I go tomorrow for a monthly appointment.
GTKY: What is a funny moment you remember or were told about from your own childhood? Hmm, I used to get in front of the video camera with huge sunglasses, big cheesin' (obviously), and would say "I'm Hollywood!" over and over. Lol... I think I was 2 or 3.

Rants/Raves? I've become fairly hormonal and cry very easily, and have been having a harder time dealing with annoying people and get frustrated much easier. I have to go to my grandfather's tonight for dinner (I love and adore him) but I can't deal with his EVIL wife (not my grandmother). She's seriously the devil. I'm really hoping I can hold my tongue with her tonight because I know she's going to say snide crap to me as always.
Dr. Appointment updates? Waiting very impatiently for my appt. on Dec 30 =(
GTKY: What is a funny moment you remember or were told about from your own childhood? I used to LOVE butter and would eat it right from the tub. One time I got a glob of butter in my hand, and was trying to sneak eat it in the family room (the fancy room we weren't really allowed in), and when my Mom walked in the room and asked what I was doing I shoved my butter covered fingers between the cushions of my parent's 1 day old white couch. I really hope my kid's not as much trouble as I was lol.
Rants/Raves? Apparently I should have watched the news this morning to find out that today is the busiest day of the year at the post office - I went to two different ones (first one, the line was out the door and they had one person working, second one took me 10 minutes to find a parking spot and then 30 minutes of waiting in line). I wasn't even shipping anything christmas related!! In other news, I'm heading to Florida in one week to stay with my parents for christmas - super excited to get away from the snow for a week.
Dr. Appointment updates? Next appointment isn't until January 5th :-( at least I talked DH into going with me this time so he can see the little babe moving for himself!
GTKY: What is a funny moment you remember or were told about from your own childhood? The first time my mom took me on an airplane, I apparently spent the entire flight freaking out and yelling at my mom that we were going to hit the sun. Didn't believe her that that wasn't possible until we landed. I was probably 3 or 4 at the time.
Rants/Raves? I've managed to cut my diclectin dose in half, and while I do a lot of quiet gagging and dry-heaving in the mornings, it's so far been manageable and I have WAY more energy. Thank god. Also, I'm announcing this weekend! So exciting! Nobody but DH has known up until now and I'm so looking forward to telling our families.
Dr. Appointment updates? Saw my midwife last week and she found the heartbeat for the first time which was a huge relief. And had my first meeting with my doula on Friday and she's awesome.
GTKY: What is a funny moment you remember or were told about from your own childhood? I was complaining recently about how it's a constant struggle to keep my toddler from drawing on walls, etc. It reminded my sister (13 years older than me) that when I was a kid, I thought the word "penmark" was a swear word and tried to use it as such, because I always heard it used in anger by my older siblings and parents

Rants/Raves? Not much here. I'm starting to feel much better. I (knock on wood) haven't felt nauseous in 2 days!
Dr. Appointment updates? Still waiting on NT scan and blood work results. Should hear in the next day or 2. Our next appt isn't until Jan 5th so we have a few weeks
GTKY: What is a funny moment you remember or were told about from your own childhood? Um, let me think ..my parents would tell me that I used to eat butter like it was frosting when I was about 5. They said it couldn't hurt me so they just let me do it. Gross!
