Hormones... What hormones??

Anyone else feeling extra B$!#%@ in the last trimester is this normal? I'm pretty sure I've ran everyone away and my SO is constantly under fire. Not saying I'm a ray of sunshine but I tend to have more control over my attitude. At this point I may as well walk around with a danger sign on me. HELP!!!

Re: Hormones... What hormones??

  • I had a doctor appointment Wednesday and my doc asked how I felt my blood pressure had been. (I get super anxious when they take my blood pressure so it always reads high when I'm in the office) I've assured him that I can tell when it's high and i'd let him know. Anyway... After thinking about it, I had to confess that it HASN'T been a problem but the reason why is that I flip out on people way more often now- it doesn't get to an "im so mad that my blood is boiling" point- it gets to an "I don't think so!" point and they get a piece of my mind right then. So, in theory, I think it has actually helped me some! I'll blame the hormones and not feel one bit bad about it!!

  • Oh man- I'm pretty miserable, and my husband gets the blunt end lately! We are almost there ladies!!!
  • I cry before I blow up mostly because I know I'm being redic about things. My husband has the patience of a saint currently lol.
  • I'm just more honest and blunt. Where I usually let things go or spare people's feelings and try to keep the peace. It's like I don't care anymore. I do get cranky at DH a lot more for his hobbies aka hunting. And I'm extremely irritable
  • I was watching an episode where someone gave birth and I just bawled and bawled. My daughter was looking at me like what is going on?!
  • I snapped at H today and I didn't even realize I did it until he said "God someone is a grumpface today." I feel really bad for him lately
  • I'm not moody, but I sure have been crying over every silly thing!  And I'm not one to cry, ever!  My husband looks at me like I'm crazy and I just say "sorry I'm pregnant!"  May as well carry a sign around like you said!

  • The hormones have been high for me as well. I have been a mess. I get frustrated at the littlest things. I cry for any reason i am able and Im pretty sure I want to smack H! It is frustrating being this this is my first child and this is his third. He thinks he knows how every woman feels when they are expecting. He doesnt think I should be tired at the end of the day since I have a "desk job " Then he starts the whole "Once she gets here its going to be a huge responsibility" like duh... i know this!

  • I just cry a lot. I was never a crier until I got pregnant with my first daughter lol. I knew I was having a girl before the ultrasound because...well...holy estrogen lol. The crying didn't really stop after DD was born but it got a little less irrational lol. But I'm pregnant with another girl and the crying has gone back up to its irrational level lol

Sound like my SO he's like your tired you sit all day, yea that's exhausting not to mention uncomfortable. How I've been able to not kill him is beyond me. I've always heard that the person you dislike the most during pregnancy is who your child will look like I can def attest to that. Pics below lol
  • 28 weeks I went bat shit. Crying uncontrollably. Getting mad. I felt insane. .30 weeks now and I feel better. So glad it ended.
  • Definitely. My husband has said I've been real snarky lately and quicker to snap at people. I dont think I'm itchy I just don't take shit any more where i used to just brush everything off lol
  • It feels good not to take people's crap anymore. They're definitely seeing a new side to me. I kinda hope it lasts even after pregnancy.

I'm young (24) and so I'm finally getting to the point in my life where I'm just tired of everyone's crap! Lol
Like my husband's ex wife just called to arrange their son coming over and she said something about me (that i didn't hear) to which his response was "she does accept my children!" And omg let me tell you I just wish she would try to start something! Lol I'm getting all worked up, but you get the point

Oh and totally OT but the awful headaches I was having were from an ear infection
  • My husband described himself as a 'husband punch bag' cos I'm so crabby lol! Not a literal punch bag before anyone is concerned I'm beating my DH! Definitely have VERY limited patience at the moment.
  • I feel like I have no patience and things I could usually stop myself from crying at just immediately overwhelm me. The other day I dropped my blueberry muffin outside of Starbucks and it rolled out of the bag onto the ground. I burst into tears and couldn't stop for at least 5 minutes. And then when DH suggested to either just eat it anyway or throw away the top (which is clearly the best part),
    I cried even harder
