Hi Ladies!!
I had my 5 day fresh transfer today and I am already thinking about POAS. Lol
I kmow there was a thread recently about which tests are best to detect and early pregnancy. I usually buy them all, Dollar Store, First Respone etc.
What is the earliest that you tested?
Re: Pregnancy Tests
Me: 34, DH: 38 ~ TTC since 2014
IUI #1-3 (Nov 2015, Feb 2016, May 2016) = BFNs
IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos
FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17
FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN
FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20
I'm assuming you had a trigger shot if you just did a fresh transfer? If so, some people buy cheapies (I had wondfos bought from Amazon) to test out the trigger, then keep the FRER for once you got something that looks like it could be a real positive.
I did IUI rather than IVF, and I started testing at 8dpiui. I got a faint positive, and got prudently excited as it could still be the trigger. Then I got a negative at 9dpiui, and DH was so pissed at me for not being able to wait. But then I started getting positives again as of 10dpiui, and peed on an inordinate amount of sticks over the next few days, and even got skeptical and used 1 wondfo with water to be sure the faint line wasn't just the test being cheap. I did FRER at 11and 12dpiui (two of the lines one, and a digital so DH would finally believe me). My beta was at 13dpiui and then I still continued to pee on sticks to make sure they got darker. So I personally went a little crazy. Those were my first ever BFPs in 2 years of trying and I had a really hard time believing it could be true. My husband was getting so annoyed with me and my pee sticks, but I was feeling different, and NEEDED to know. If you're able to wait, I'd definitely encourage it, but I'm in no position to judge anyone
I bought some cheapies and First Response. I think the earliest I will test is Friday. The TWW is the worst!!!!
