This is a weekly check-in for those in their 2nd trimester: weeks 14 through the end of week 27.

Congrats to all the strong ladies who have made it this far! It's such a great feeling and we've all accomplished so much! We are now 1 week closer to the end of this especially long journey we call "infertility".

Please post below a little about yourself, how many beans you have growing inside, if you have found out the sex(es) and what your EDD is. Please also let us know how far you've made it on your journey and when your next appt is and what for.

Married for 4 years. TTC for 3.
Me: 38 DH: 39
DX: Unexplained Infertility; found a few fibroids this time around during SIS

March 2012: Clomid for 3 cycles  3 BFNs
Sept. 2013: started injectables (Follistim, Ovidrel Trigger) IUI BFN

May 2015: New RE. Going IVF. Tests, Tests, Tests 
July 2015: Microdose Lupron 20u am & pm, Follistim 150iu 75iu am, Menapur 150iu 75iu pm
Triggered 8/4 ER 8/6 ET 8/11 2 beautiful blastocysts; 2WW
8/19 hpt BFP! Beta 8/25: 482
2nd Beta 9/1......3707
U/S 9/21: 1 beautiful little gummy bear

    Hi all! I got the call today (FINALLY) about my genetic screening results and baby is healthy!! :) It was so hard saying no when she asked if I wanted to know the gender! We are going to find out but are having OB write it down at our appointment on Wednesday and will find out on New Years Eve. (DH's B-day is January 1st so that's what he wanted!)

    ME: 35 DH: 39

    Married July 2011

    DD Born 8/12

    TTC #2 since 11/13

    ME: Submucosal Fibroid Surgery Date APRIL 14th 2015 -Left Tube is blocked by Fibroid~Surgeon removed 26 Fibroids from my Ute and Unblocked my Tube

    DH:Azoospermia...Thank God we have 12 vials of frozen swimmers

    July 15-Check to see if Ute is all healed

    IUI #1 8/3/15...BFN

    IUI #2 9/5/15...BFP on 9/17/15

    Beta #1-344

    Beta #2-809

    Beta #3 8,390

    1st u/s 8/8/15 1 bean HB 135 @ 6w5d

    Oh @NB817 , you guys are so patient! Just came back from my first OB appointment. She told me that the place that does the ultrasound (it's not the OB here) likely wouldn't tell me and would wait til their radiologist has seen it (only a tech is in there with us). So even though we're going on Friday, we won't find out til Monday most likely! Ugh, the wait is killing us! Can't wait to see our little bean again though. Not sure whether I'll cry less or more than I did last time! Everything else is going fine otherwise! My parents visited last weekend and bought us our stroller (Uppababy Vista), and we got the Mesa car seat...super excited! They've also set up a date for a baby shower (we live 6hrs away from 'home'), so it makes planning more difficult.

    Nothing really going on here. I have an OB appointment on the 14 and anatomy scan on the 21. @NB817 You are so patient! I don't know that I could wait that long. Actually, I think I probably could but I know DH couldn't. He wants to know right then and there. I wanted to wait and have a cake made to find out with our family. He wasn't having that. lol

    Me: 31

    DH: 29, SA - Great

    Married: June 12,2011

    TTC #1: 1/2014

    Diagnosis: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea

    Treatment: Clomid:  50mg, 100mg, 150mg - not successful and not monitored

                      Menopur 75ml (upped to 112.5ml), Ovidrel, & IUI  IUI #1 8/31/2015

    9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!
    Heartbeat 10/2/2015: 118bpm
    DS: 5/27/2016

    TTC# 2: 12/2017
    BFP: 4/20/2018
    EDD: 12/29/2018

    @kidshrink & @adorkablepixie I'm not THAT patient this time around! We didn't find out at all with DD so I basically waited 10 months...THAT was patient! LOL.

    I admire you even more! I just can't wait to know what's hiding in there! I absolutely have no preference (and I hate when people ask me that; I usually answered that we waited long enough for this to happen that we'll just take anything), but I just want to know. Okay, I'll admit, I'm a control freak.

    @KidShrink I felt the exact same way, no preference for which sex I wanted- I literally just wanted one after 5 years of trying! :) I totally couldn't wait so the minute they asked me if I wanted to know I said yes and they told me over the phone (I had an early blood test and found out around 10 weeks or 11 weeks). I was so happy I choked up and wanted to cry when she said "girl" then I just texted my husband and told him (he didn't really care about any big reveal lol).

    Nothing else new here, just trekking along! I will be 27 weeks on Friday. A little nervous about my glucose testing - I can't remember if that's next week or in 2 weeks. I have a total sweet tooth and have been eating candy and ice cream etc a lot lately...so now I'm trying to be better about eating and I'm trying to be more active.

    I'm also thinking about when/if I want to get maternity pics taken. I don't want to do it too early where my bump isn't big, but I also don't want to wait too long and I get huge and bloated either! I'm already thinking I look fat in pics (it's the double chin and fat face I hate, I think my body is fine).

    Almost 23 weeks, I have been spotting since Sunday but they cannot find a cause, babies, placentas, and fluid are all fine and my cervix is long and closed.

    I found out I will likely be delivering 6 hours away from home because of Baby B's defect, I will know more on 12/30 when I see the MFM again.  They promise they will have a plan then.

    @efhoping2010 : hope that bleeding resolves soon...you certainly don't need any more stress at this point! It's nice that you'll have a plan soon, and I have all my fingers and toes crossed that all turns out okay for baby B and you.

    Hopefully, I'll have exciting gender news tomorrow. Otherwise, it'll benjust in time for next week's check in :)

    @efhoping2010 It's tough hearing about your baby B, but I have faith it will all be ok. Glad you are getting a plan together and seemingly keeping your wits about you. You and your family are in my thoughts.

    @KidShrink A BOY!? Congrats! How exciting!!!

    @mrsloriw I was the same when they asked me if I wanted to know, over the phone. I cried...my husband and I had her on speaker phone. I pretty much had to shout, "YES! I WANNA KNOW!" cuz she was having a hard time hearing us lol. I knew I'd be happy either way.

    @NB817 So glad your test came back healthy!!
