How many is too many tries?

DH and I have tried 2 fresh and 1 frozen ivf transfers and failed. I am currently on BC now and then estradiol when AF comes next for another FET. This will then be our 4th attempt and with another possible BFN, I don't know if I can handle it!

Any advice or stories will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Hey @PrayingMom2Be, I don't know that there is an answer for your question of how many is too many tries. I think all of us ladies here are so strong, but at some point, which is likely to be very different for each of us, we may draw the line on too much heart break. If you are not ready to take another chance, knowing that a BFN is sadly a possibility then maybe consider taking a break for a few months and regroup until you are ready for that next FET. Hi there ! I agree with @2legbaby - I don't think there is an answer . I agree too that it could be good to take some months to regroup and allow your body to relax and get your mind right before trying again . I haven't done IVF but even just with my IUI cycles that failed I just didn't feel like mentally I could handle going on . Even if I was going to get pregnant I was a nervous unhealthy wreck !

It's natural to feel discouraged at this point but you can do it ! In my personal opinion I say keep trying whenever you are ready . It could be a few months it could be a year or years . There's no right answer . Do you have frozen embryos ? I know finances could play a factor in this decision, too .

For what it's worth - I know someone that did five transfers before a success ! She now has a beautiful healthy daughter !
