It's a great song that he wrote to his son before he was born. The chorus is sung by Ed Sheeran. I've been obsessed with it for months but wanted to share it if it hasn't been already.

    Love this song, cried the first time I listened to it!! It's for his daughter, Sloane tho fyi. He did a great interview about the song and fears about becoming a father if you look it up. Now I'm gonna have to listen to it and cry again

    Yeah I have a hard time listening to it because my baby girl's daddy isn't going to be in the picture much and I just wish more than anything in the world that she could have an amazing dad. Tearing up just typing this...

    I didn't realize he had a little girl! The words are so skewed toward having a boy I just assumed Sloane was a boy.

    @Myelhsa I definitely thought it sounded like it was written for a son too when I first heard it before I looked it up! After listening to it a few times I think the first verse is for a daughter and the 2nd verse is for a son, but I think it's open for interpretation too :) either way, awesome song!
