Nylons are never comfy. But wearing them while pregnant is the worst!!! Feeling like a bloated whale stuffed into a... Well, something smaller than a bloated whale. Darn pasty white legs/cold weather!!
I buy extra big ones- I did it throughout my last pregnancy too. In my job, I wear a lot of skirts and dresses and in Toronto, bare legs are not a winter option. I still feel somewhat constrained but so far they're okay.
@SMLmom I'm in Toronto too! It's actually really nice out today, but seriously I think I'd blind people with the shocking white!! To make matters worse, I just got a run. Darn professional dress code!
Thyme actually makes the most incredibly comfortable maternity nylons everrrr. They're seamless and so comfortable I wore them constantly even when I wasn't pregnant anymore.
I've been wearing nylons with skirts and dresses lately too. My issue is the ones with the tight elastic at the top it makes a dent under my clothes and I hate it! If I pull it up I have a dent on my belly, if I roll it down I have a dent on my hips. There is no winning. I'm going to try those maternity leggings mentioned above! Thanks for the idea:
I've been addicted to the Commando brand of nylons/tights for a few years now. They have a flat, no-roll top and are very comfortable. I suggest checking them out. I wore a size up for what I normally do, last night, and they were great!
Ugh!!!! I feel you!! I was asked to skate a solo at one of the outdoor ice rinks here in town and agreed before I really thought about it... I went home and tried on all my skating dresses, none of them fit or they make me look like a giant. Went to put on some skating tights and they don't stay up anymore my mom was a lifesaver though!! She bought me some of the softest maternity tights!
Re: Nylons and the pregnant woman!
Come to Texas, it is 80 here today! No nylons necessary
@SMLmom I'm so so sorry. Maybe more comfy maternity tights? Ugh.
