How much Tylenol ?

My baby had her 2 month shots and I don't know if they said to give her .2 ml or 2 ml?! Any of you know! Tried calling the doctor but their on brake

    I believe it's 2 ml.. It should be on the box

    It should be on the box but if you are in doubt wait to get ahold of your doc before giving your baby medicine. Do you have a nurses line through your insurance that you can call?

    For future reference have them write down any instructions they give you. At our doc we get a paper with all baby's info from that visit. If they do the same for you have them write on that. If not, they can grab an appointment card or something to write on for you.

    My pedi said 1/4 tsp and they did that based on her weight. There should be instructions but if you are in doubt I would wait to hear back from the doctor

    My box just says follow doctors orders for this age. Our doctor wrote out 2ml every 4 hours as needed. I only gave it to her once and that was because she was hungry and overtired but wouldn't stop fussing to eat.

    I agree though that it was probably based on what our doctor thought for this particular baby. But if you're sure it was either .2 or 2 I'd bet too. But I'd talk to the doctor if there's any doubt.

    I just got off the phone with my doc's triage nurse because pp was correct that at this age the box says call your doc and our paperwork has a spot for that info and the nurse didn't freaking write it down, and she told us 1.25 ml. BUT that they didn't want us giving him Tylenol unless his fever was over 102 because they don't want to interfere with the immune response to the vaccine.
    So definetly double check with your doc before giving meds.
    She also suggested that we use either cold or warm compresses at the injection site to help make baby more comfortable.

    Our doc says 0.5 ml if under 12 pounds, only if necessary.
