PP sweating!!!!

I love feeling gross 30 minutes after I shower. And it's happening in the weirdest spots: my feet, hands, and soooo much boob sweat especially WHILE breast feeding baby. Anyone else sweating this bad??

Re: PP sweating!!!!

  • Yes. I'm two weeks PP and its still happening, though not as bad as in the beginning. It's super gross waking up with my under boobs and back drenched in sweat.

  • Yes. It's not fun waking up drenched in sweat to nurse the baby.
  • I have never sweated this badly post partum before and my other two babies were born in the summer (go figure). I showered twice a day plus baby wipes myself down every time I peed while I was in the hospital and I'm two and a half weeks out now and still have night sweats bad. It's just dumping all that water weight and all those hormones ... Still annoying as all get out.
  • For the whole first week, I'd wake up drenched in a puddle of sweat every night. It's better now though!
  • Im sweating pp also. Damn hormones!

I fit in this group! I am a sweaty mess! The worst was when I woke up and had neck sweat. Didn't even know that was possible.
    Edit: spelling

  • Totally normal. Granted, I spent most of my pregnancy sweating like crazy, but I had terrible night sweats the first few weeks postpartum. A fun side effect I didn't expect was cold sweats as well!

This exactly. Nothing like waking up to nurse covered in sweat. I'm freezing then getting out of bed and feeding her in the nursery. Finally getting back into bed with sweaty sheets is great too. So gross. LO is two weeks today. I'm hoping the sweating stops soon!

  • @ColoradoHiker cold sweats over here too! Awful! The sad part is the house thermostat is set at 72 and Im freezing and sweating like cray cray

  • Oh I forgot about this. Happened with my first two. Between baby spit up, sweat and discharge I always felt the need to shower.

  • Yeah I wake up cold and sweaty. Especially my neck. Yuck.
  • My biggest issue is sweaty feet. I'm feeling normal every where else but my feet feel disgusting. I can't stand having anything touch them
  • I saw this thread and said thank goodness this isn't happening to me! Well I spoke too soon.. It is not fun!
  • I am still in my 37th week, but I'm having such a horrible time with night sweats!! From my neck/chest down to my legs/feet!! Yuck! I'm praying it goes away after baby is here! (This thread is not giving me hope, haha.)
On top of the night sweats, I have itchy rashes all over my body, I think from sweating so much.... As I get rashes like this when I'm in tropical places sometimes.
Hoping everything goes back to normal soon!! And if anyone has any remedies, let me know asap!
  • Yes!!! So glad you posted this im sitting here thinking what is going on with me. And came across this thread! I never even knew this was a thing.. I hope it passes soon though!
