OMG- Harmony blood Test results came back early!

WOW! I was not expecting them to come a week +1 day after the test!

The results: AMAZING--1 in 10,000 chance for Downs and "low risk" for the other Trisonomies, as well as the Monosomies (which have a history of false "high risk" findings in this test).  I was terrified of getting a false(or real!)  "high risk"--- our first baby had Monosomy X, aka Turner's Syndrome (after the Nuchal revealed fluid all around the baby at 13 wks, a CVS confirmed complete/non-mosaic Turner's).  ANYWAY-- low risk for everything?!?!  Really??  I just cried and cried with joy.  And I was at work.  Actually I ran out onto the sidewalk, as no one at work knows :)  So I cried on the street in front of half of Sydney.  Our Nuchal is next week and I feel I can walk in there with my head held high- I'll still be a mess, but I'll be a slightly more confident mess.

What an amazing feeling.  And the bonus is we got to find out the sex: it's a BOY!  So crazy.

I have to be honest and say I felt a little crestfallen that it wasn't a girl.... I so badly wanted a healthy girl after the loss of our sweet, tiny girl in July.  But this will be helpful: It's not a replacement for the baby we lost, and having it be the other sex will make everything feel very different, and I'm happy about that. 
A BOY!! I can't even get my head around it.  If he turns out to be anything like his father, we're very lucky parents.

1st Pregnancy: EDD 12/31/15; Diagnosed Turner's with terminal cystic hygroma 13wks; induced at 14wks, +3 d+c's.
2nd Pregnancy: BFP 10/8/15; EDD 6/21/16

    Congratulations!!!!!!! That's so exciting..and I love that you celebrated in the street. Awesome. lol You're co-workers were probably like, "Where is she going?????"

    BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

    TTC#2 since May 2017
    BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
    BFP 2/16/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 4/13/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks      •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
    BFP 9/24/18  •      CP (age 40)
    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)

    That is awesome! I was at Meijer when they called with my results saying we were low risk for everything. I started crying in the freezer aisle.

     Hoping the rest of this pregnancy is lovely and uneventful!! Thanks again for the support- it truly helps whether it's good news or bad.
