Thanks. I'm doing ok. I realized that taking hpts definetly lessens the blow. I was expecting this for a few days now so I have been processing this. I'm lucky that I have three more free tries with iui.
This wait is killing me. I went for a beta yesterday - 3! Not pregnant.
I took another test today and not only did I get a positive digi, the line is darker. Still quite faint, but definitely darker and no squinting needed.
I go back for another bloodiest on Thursday if AF isn't here by then.

Wow 252 that's good. Did you do IVF? Could there be more then 1 in there? I got my bfp yesterday and my is at 88 I got back tomorrow to see if it's going up. Congrats
Hi ladies! My beta is tomorrow. Does anyone know what number is a good number?? I saw one of you got an 88 and one of you had 252, that's a big difference! Congrats to you both! I hope I get the same news tomorrow! FX!
Also, if you get a positive beta, do you go back for more blood work, or are you officially preggers at that point??
Hi my RE said as long as it was 50 or above that it was good. Mine was 88 an I go back tomorrow to see if it went up. My re makes you go for blood a few times, but I'm officially preg. We just want it to stay that way. When u go to a RE the keep a close eye on you. Good luck tomorrow
@ShanTeach I am here to say from experience, it TRULY doesn't matter what number you get, it's the doubling that matters!! @laurenlalap praying your numbers double. I don't want to get your hopes up, but there is still a chance they could mine started at a 10, and they warned me I could possibly miscarry with such a low number. I go in for my 6week ultrasound tomorrow. Mine isn't exactly a success story yet though. Not until we see that sac. GL to you!

Hi @ShanTeach. I think a beta over 25 is officially pregnant (source: AmericanPregnancy.org). My RE does follow-up labs two days later to see if the beta value had doubled. Basically there is a wide range of normal values, but the key is that they should double every 2 days. There are different types of pregnancies, some typically developing, some chemical, some molar, some ectopic. The doc will want to watch out for the non-typical ones since they could be life threatening in some circumstances. Hope this helps, and GL tomorrow. I am also testing tomorrow and hoping for the best.

Thank you - I really appreciate it. I'm not expecting much. I've been pregnant 4 times before (3 m/c) and each time my nipples have been so sore I could cry. I don't have that this time. I just want my period to come so I can do IUI #2. Next cycle I'm going to make strong efforts to eat better, not drink and exercise daily. Positivity!!!

@laurenlalap sorry about your losses. I've also miscarried, & DH & I both lost a piece of us afterwards. It's hard to get excited anymore after so many disappointments.
Sounds like you're staying pretty positive, that's great to hear. 3 of my family members got pregnant right away after weight loss. I think it's a great strategy. FX for your next IUI if this one doesn't work out.

I am joining this thread because I am trying to keep myself calm. I am 14 dpiui today. I moved my beta until Friday because for the last 2 cycles (I'm on my 3rd IUI), either AF or spotting started before my beta, and I thought that moving my beta later would give me an illusion of control . So, I've made it further than I have my past two cycles, although not outside the realm of normal for me, but trying to resist the urge to symptom spot.

I will join in too because I am 8 dpiui today on my second IUI attempt. I had 3 large eggs after using Clomid so I am hoping there is at least something in there! So hard to wait to test since my RE wants a positive for a HPT before scheduling a beta.
Had my beta this morning and it was a whopping 465! Go back on Friday to ensure it goes up 60%. Sending wishes of positive numbers everyone else's way!
Thanks for the support everyone. Looking forward to our next IUI in January. We are meeting with a urologist next week so hoping for some treatment options to increase our sperm count.
In the meantime, we are still at Disney World until Sunday... so it's impossible to be sad about anything, including a BFN!

After waiting until 16 dpiui for my beta w/no AF, I was cautiously optimistic while trying to manage my expectations (I know you ladies know how it is), my beta was 523! This was my third IUI. I am so very excited to be adding my results to so many others here who got there BFPs this month, and I am sorry for those who got BFNs and fx for you next cycle. Hugs all around!
