Do a little dance!!

LO just slept 5 hours...IN HER CRIB!! Well, in her portable napper, in her crib. But in her room all the same. And she just went right back down!! I dont even care if i jinx myself. I had 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep!!
SO had drill all weekend so i was by myself with her, well he got home tonight and offered to take me to get something to eat, and my mom offered to watch the baby. So we got 2 hours of us time, got home got her fed, changed and swaddled and right to bed. She went down with no problem! We dot to have a lottle more us tome (dtd-tmi i know but i was excited) and best part. SLEEP!!!
What is my secret you ask...Miracle blanket!! I swear if any of you have issues with an escape artist..try this! It has these littleminner flaps for arms, then one side is extra long and wraps around twice. I didnt think any swaddle would work, but this is amazing. She took a 3 hour nap yesterday...in her crib!! And then tonights glorious sleep!!!

    Oh man mine slept 8.5 night before last and I couldn't believe it! I kept waking up and checking the monitor to make sure he was alive. My first didn't sleep through the night until he was a year old, so I'm beside myself that this little man might be my sleeper. Plus, it was my 31st birthday, so thanks for my present, little man!

    Not kid related but this morning my fiancé got up for work and before left he did the dishes, cleaned the stove, and watered the Christmas tree so I didn't have to this morning. I've been having lots of rough days with little man this week, I think he's in a wonder week since he's suddenly so crabby.

    @midge519 that is definitely something to dance about!
    She also just slept another 4 hours! ! Im trying not to get too excited. We have 2mo appt today so sges well rested for her shots.
    @swelniak i also kept checking to make sure she was breathing!

    My LO did just under 8 hours two nights ago which was exciting but went back to 4 hour stretch followed by 3 hour stretch last night .... I just hope it's a sign of things to come. She 9.5 weeks .... Longer stretches at night have been long awaited !

    Last night lo slept from 11-7! 7 weeks tomorrow!

    Granted he refused to sleep in his cosleeper and was hysterical the 5 hrs leading up to bed, but I really needed the sleep. I was so out of it, I didn't even check on him. Just stuck a nipple in his mouth every time he stirred

    I wonder whether he's going through a growth spurt? He's been crankier than usual :)

    That said I'll take it! Lo usually wakes every 90min to 2hrs.

    Looks like we are all in the same boat ladies! I'm hoping for more of this (minus the fussy) soon!

    2nd night in a row LO is in her room sleeping in her crib!!!!! Im getting pretty proud of myself. Although she had her 2month shots today, so i hope that doesnt keep her up tonight.
    Maybe 9 weeks is the magic sleep number! !
