What are you doing to get ready for baby? Getting a rocking chair delivered from lazy boy tomorrow. Black Friday ftw!

GTKY: what is your favorite ice cream flavor? I'm all about the mint chocolate chip and caramel. Anything chocolate from Ben and jerrys is great too.
Rants/raves/symptoms: I am finding I don't have to eat so much now to keep MS under control so that is a plus...should hopefully curb the weight gain. I have zero energy today though. I want to sleep all day.
What are you doing to get ready for baby? Pretty much nothing :P other than trying to get my apartment organized and renovated, I guess. Hoping to have it done before I'm super pregnant.
Questions: Anyone else have insomnia that they think might be caused by taking Diclectin at night? Am I crazy?

Rants/raves/symptoms: MS if I don't eat every 2 hrs, still tired. Started B6 this am, so we'll see if that starts to help.
What are you doing to get ready for baby? Not a whole lot yet. I began preliminary stroller/car seat research and went cross-eyed with all the bazillion options. I need to develop a decision matrix to narrow it down or something. Yikes.
Kidding, but I'm finding it's a little easy as a FTM to get lost in all the options of baby stuff out there.

@Emztron500: I'm not on Diclectin, but I'm dealing with insomnia as well. Ugh. Is insomnia a known side-effect of the drug?

What are you doing to get ready for baby? We've started buying stuff as it goes on sale. We got a good deal on a rock n play.

Looking out for good deals. That's about it. After christmas we will start working on the nursery and buying clothes and stuff.

Anybody feel like their hips are being stretched out?? It hurts my hips to straighten my legs.

Rants/raves/symptoms: had my NT scan today. Decided to just swallow the cost because insurance is an assclown. NT measurement was 1.2, I call next Friday for the blood results.
What are you doing to get ready for baby? Staring at paint swatches. Millions of paint swatches.
Questions: did anyone who got the NT scan get scheduled for blood work 4 weeks later? I'm thinking this is for the quad screen, which I do not recall asking for.

Rants/raves/symptoms: Rant- I had to bring work home this weekend to keep my head above water. I know, I know... boohoo. Rave-I'm like @samsonator, 2 weeks of school left! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Symptoms- had more RLP today than usual, otherwise feeling pretty good. Still having daily afternoon headaches but I can get rid of them with a little coca-cola and tylenol.
What are you doing to get ready for baby? DH and I are trying to get approved for a loan to convert our garage and make room for baby. We have three, ages 14, 12, and 9 (technically my step-babies) and we're really trying not to make them share rooms, again.
Questions: This is really weird, but has anyone else been experiencing a really sensitive/sore tailbone?? For the last couple of weeks mine has been bothering me and I can't think of anything that could be the reason for it...
GTKY: what's your favorite ice cream flavor? Ice cream bothers my stomach so I stay away, but I love this coconut milk ice cream that's cookie dough flavored. Umm, freaking yumm!!
Rants/raves/symptoms: I feel pretty good, but my diet is so awful right now (no nausea, but TONS of food aversions) and it's making me feel even more exhausted and run down than I should be. Apparently, a diet of apples, pickles and carbs is not the most nutritious.

Rants/raves/symptoms: I have been wanting french toast sticks and I finally found them!!! They were just as amazing as I imagined!
What are you doing to get ready for baby? We've bought some gender neutral baby clothes but that's about it. After our appointment Monday we will probably start doing more!

Rants/raves/symptoms: Nausea seems to be better today. And I woke up to a sudden bump this morning. And I had forgotten how painful RLP is when you sneeze. I sneezed in my sleep last night and the pain was terrible
What are you doing to get ready for baby? We got a gift card for Target today for a baby item that was faulty so rather than blow it we put it towards the baby trend double stroller. I think our safety first infant seat will work in that so win all round.
GTKY: what's your favorite ice cream flavor?: I am a boring Vanilla person but I also love Banana Ice cream. Thanks for putting it in my head. Guess who just got a bowl of ice cream since she read this!
Rants/raves/symptoms: First day of no puking this week. Maybe I'll break my 3 day no puke streak this weekend.
What are you doing to get ready for baby?: Looking at all the baby quilt patterns. I have a few that I really want to do but I've tried before and my measurements were the slightest bit off so they came out a bit wonky. At the same time, if its my baby I'm not so adverse to pulling out seams and redoing it. I'm waiting until the anatomy scan to purchase any fabric because I want either purple/teal or blue/teal instead of a totally neutral colored quilt but that shouldn't stop me from speculating, right?

Rants/raves/symptoms: Helloooooo 2nd trimester. So glad to be here! Had my second appointment yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat on the doppler. Won't see baby again until our 20 week u/s on Jan 15th. Still having poo problems, either constipated or diarrhea so that sucks. No bump yet, still 100% bloat.
What are you doing to get ready for baby? Finally decided on nursery colors and furniture this morning. Going to start clearing out the room next weekend to get ready for paint and furniture.

Rants/raves/symptoms: feeling great today! Which is a wonderful, glorious thing! Got to watch my nephew's peewee Hockey tournament and it was fantastic! 1 goal, 2 assists!
What are you doing to get ready for baby? We need to move before I can seriously start planning the nursery, so to get ready, we are replacing baseboards and hardware before putting the house on the market.

Rants/Raves etc. Rant about my NT ultrasound which I had Thursday. It didn't go well. Baby wouldn't cooperate not in good position. No pics didn't get to see or hear heartbeat. Tech spent a total of 5 minutes with me. Then told me to book followup for a week. This was after they made me wait 45 minutes after my appointment time. To say the least I'm not impressed. And I can't complain as I will be back there lots later in pregnancy if my others are any indication.
Sorry that was a long rant.
