I have a sore throat, grrr. And one of the kids in our moms group has hand, foot, mouth and came to everything last week, praying DS doesn't get. I googled it, not smart.
Dr'sappt next Monday, nothing special but in 5 weeks it's the anatomy scan, still doesn't feel real:) aside from ms and exhaustion...
Rants/raves? Finally seem to be getting out of the woods with a never ending cold. I can breathe better and sort of taste things today, so I'll consider that a victory.
Dr.appt updates? I had my 12 weeks ultrasound and blood draw last week, came back low risk for genetic abnormalities so that was good news. Next appointment is regular Dr. visit for 14 weeks next Friday.
Rants/raves? Thought I was free and clear of the worst of the morning sickness but I threw up in my kitchen sink yesterday morning (sorry, TMI?). In better news - we got our Christmas tree yesterday. We put all the lights up, now I just need to get to work on the ornaments and decorating the rest of the house. I also went to a holiday cookie swap party yesterday and came home with two giant boxes of a variety of cookies (sooo hard to resist eating them all at once).
Dr.appt updates? Had a doctor appointment last Wednesday and they drew my blood for the Verifi test (I can't wait to get the results, in the meantime I'm just stressing about it). My regular doctor was at the hospital for a delivery, so I ended up seeing one of his partners who was SUPER nice - such a relief to know i'll be in good hands even if my doc is unavailable. He did an ultrasound and I got to see little feet and toes, the little nugget is growing so fast!

Rants/raves? Rant- I have no motivation to do anything whatsoever....I feel like scrooge about Christmas because I don't feel like decorating or making an effort with peoples' gifts. I don't feel like doing anything at work. All I can think of is sleeping and eating. I really hope this passes soon cause it's really starting to get to me. Rave-I have an amazing supportive husband that has been so helpful and dealing with my crazy mood swings.
Dr.appt updates? Don't have another one for 3 more weeks.....so bring on the worrying that something bad is going on with every new/change in symptoms.

No rants or raves for me really. Feeling better than I did the first tri. I'm in the middle of a hectic move so that seems to be my only stress
Dr.appt updates? I have an appointment on Wednesday. I don't think it's an ultrasound, just check up. I need all the prayers I can get though! My SO got his blood drawn for the CF screening since I'm a carrier so we are awaiting those results!! I hope everything comes back negative. I just want my healthy baby.
Rants/raves? Not ready to work for the next 5 days. I wish my appetite would get back to normal. Sometimes I want to eat everything (and not always healthy stuff) and sometimes I can't even think about making dinner or eating lunch. Today, I'm eating everything. At least it was fairly healthy - healthy salad and a bowl of fruit. But also finished my bag of chili cheese fritos...oops.
Dr.appt updates? NT scan (I think) next Tuesday (15th). Can't wait! Each day I am more and more confident that everything is fine and baby is growing. Just have to keep thinking positively.

Rants are headaches and fatigue but so thankful I've not even had one day of nausea so I'm not complaining!
Also, bummed I can't ride anything fun at Disney this weekend but it will still be fun.

We've only told immediate family so far. I was avoiding telling work for another week because my boss kinda sucks some days. I was backed into a corner this am and had to tell her. (She was discussing a hiring plan for more help and I needed her to know we needed more help then just a part time person). She was kinda bitchy like I thought she'd be. Now I'm annoyed.
We'll tell everyone else after the test results come back.

Had our NT scan last wed and waiting for results. I have a 13w appt tomorrow with a full physical then our next will be in about 4 wks.

Food mocks me. It knows I want to want it but don't.

Rants/raves? Trying to get over this crazy cold I've had since last week. I can't remember the last time I was this miserable with a cold. And all I'm taking is Tylenol and ginger tea with lots of honey and lemon.
