GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? Nope, he is starting the 3 day diet this week.
Rants/Raves: my legs have been hurting so much. Last night I couldn't sleep in bed. I was so much more comfy on th couch. Hope this ends soon or it's going to be a looooong five months

Upcoming appointments: Just had our anatomy scan yesterday, but have to go back in 2 weeks because baby wouldn't cooperate enough to get all the views they needed....they are only missing a couple but still need to go back. The 90% they did see looked awesome though, and by the end of the day we'll know it's a boy baby or a girl baby

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? Ha!! He gained more weight than I did in the 1st trimester. I'm the primary chef in the family...so when I was eating nothing but carbs so was he
Rants/Raves: This cold needs to go away. Day 5 and I just want to be able to sleep without coughing a lung out

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? No, thankfully I am finally starting to gain weight instead of losing weight.
Rants/Raves: I think I started feeling movements yesterday! It could have been gas, but I wasn't really feeling gassy. It was a weird vibration feeling that was happening fairly regularly over about 4 hours. I haven't felt it since.
Upcoming appointments: Check up on December 15th, my MIL is going with because she wants to hear the heartbeat and I'm letting her because she is possibly the best MIL in the world - I'm super lucky to have her.

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? One of his friends said he has, but I haven't really noticed any weight gain.
Rant/rave: just excited to be feeling more movement!
Upcoming appts: 2 on the 14th...regular check up then anatomy scan.
Question for the group: anyone else getting tingly hips? Feels like it's falling asleep. So annoying
GTKY: No, DH has always been thin/lean and never gains weight. Lucky him. I look at food and gain.
Rants/Raves: still nausea, but less vomiting this week! headaches and 4am wake - ups! side note - my sister and 3 SILs don't have children yet. I think I scare them with the hyperem that I had - both pregnancies. I don't wish it on them!! still trying the wean off of the zofran.
Upcoming appointments: Dec.14th I start weekly US for cervical length checks with MFM and progesterone injections to try to prevent preterm labor this time around. Dec. 28th is next routine OB visit. AS early January, but we won't find out gender until delivery.
Questions for the Group: @ valerie4786 got me thinking...have you invited anyone else to your appointments? DH will come to AS if he can - he just started a new job.
valerie4786, I too have an awesome MIL! She lives 20min away (the perfect distance!) and she watches the twins when I have appointments. We have Sunday dinners at their house, and she recently offered to keep the twins Sunday nights and take care of them Mondays so I can rest! Isn't she the best!? My mom is great too - 450 miles away
GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? Nope, but then again I'm still 8lbs below pre-preg weight. When I was pregnant with the twins, He went from 180lbs to 150lbs. If I had delivered closer to term, I would have passed him! He's currently 152, and I'm 127, so I'm trying to catch him this time around! Friendly competition. Have a great weekend!

Rants/Raves: Another week down of no one knowing. 3 more weeks of hiding to go.
GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? No, he doesn't gain weight, even if he tries.
Rants/Raves: Lately everything has been pretty uneventful. Saw my sister yesterday for the first time since she found out and she was so excited bc I have a pretty noticeable bump now.
Upcoming appointments: 12/24 for anatomy scan, 12/29 for next regular appointment

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? Nope. Opposite actually. He wants to lose some weight before baby gets here so he's been dieting/exercising more. I feel like I'm gaining his weight.
Rants/Raves: Rant: I'm still gagging/throwing up. Diclegis, DO YOUR JOB. Raves: My bump now actually looks like a bump.
Upcoming appointments: This Monday, Dec. 7th. Probably won't be getting an anatomy scan, but I'm hoping they'll make an exception due to some serious family circumstances.
Questions for the Group: Does anybody else's stomach feel...weird? Like nothing is where it should be, even though (at this point for me, anyway) the uterus still hasn't risen higher than the belly button (yet)? That's the only way I can think of to describe it. It's so weird.
GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? - Nope. For awhile, he hadn't gained any plain sympathy, either - he works in Trauma Care in a busy emergency room, and anytime that I've ever been sick it's always been "suck it up, at least you don't have [insert traumatic injury] like the patients I had last night". And then a few weeks ago he actually *saw* me be sick twice in the space of an hour. I was really shaky and emotional and couldn't stop crying after. He's a LOT more sympathetic now. :P
and I agree on the lack of sympathy in general from the hubby. I've been thinking about having the conversation "this is my last pregnancy...take care of me!" what I really want to say is. "You'll will never have this chaos of physical/emotional changes! You have no idea!"

Questions for the Group: is anyone else throwing up after eating something you didn't think would? I got sick after eating a big cookie last night, and had a similar incident with beef stew last week.

@yogahh, I agree. This produce system seems inconsistent. I've seen some huge avocados... Couldn't they have chosen items that are a consist size? Golf ball, tennis ball, etc?!

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? I don't know if it's sympathy weight, per se, but he's gained a few LBS! Might be related to the football beers, wings, and pizza!
Rants/Raves: I'm finally feeling small movements, very very small though but very noticeable that it's the baby! Woot!

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? LOL yes, but because we've been really lazy going to the gym lately... So if I don't want to go, then he doesn't go either. We use to go 4-5 days a week.
Rants/Raves: I've basically accepted that by the end of each day, I will have an incredibly sore tailbone. If I'm completely inactive, it doesn't hurt as much, but that isn't healthy, nor do I have that luxury.
Upcoming appointments: This Friday is the anatomy scan! I'm excited but nervous! I just want LO to be healthy.

I think he may have a little. He was up 5 lbs at the doctor (the only time he weighs himself) so some of that may have been since I was pregnant. He's really thin, so it doesn't hurt him to gain a little.
Rants/Raves: Feeling pretty good this week, and got ALL of our Christmas shopping done. Whew! I also got the Britax car seat and stroller that was on super sale at Kohl's for myself and baby! I'm excited for it to come in!
Upcoming appointments: Tomorrow for regular check up - ready to hear HB again!

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? Hubby is in the military and has weigh ins this week. Thank goodness hubby is a health freak he has baby girl and I on a good healthy diet.
Rants/Raves: I'm feeling pretty great! My MIL has started her "I've been praying for you" which drives me absolutely insane. Don't get me wrong I can use all the prayers but I don't need to hear it everytime I see her or talk to her or when DH talks to her. She said this throughout my last pregnancy and by the end I swore I was going to freak out on her. I already told DH he needed to put an end to it.
Upcoming appointments: 12/16 for a regular appointment. We then will have our anatomy scan on 12/30!!

DH has been using this pregnancy to eat whatever he wants. I continuously remind him that he's not the one who is pregnant!!
Rants/raves/symptoms: not too many! Feeling better, a little achy, but my energy is back, and I can't complain !!
Next appt: 1/4 anatomy scan, have to wait till 21'weeks bc my doctor is out for Xmas, but I'm trying to be patient!! I just would rather know that baby is healthy and ok hopefully before the holidays but she won't budge and let me get the scan before 20 weeks.
Gtky: he's gained some but not like last time... Last time was baaaaad. But at least we lost it together. Last pregnancy when I boycotted the gym he did as well. Lately he has been averaging about 4 times a week. I went twice this weekend so major victory!!!
Rants/Raves: I have a cold and feel like I have been hit by a bus. Also something smells gross in my office...like sickly sweet. Ugh.
Upcoming appointments: I have an appointment 12/21 at the hospital with the MFM specialist, but need to call to reschedule for 12/22. Then another appointment on 1/4 with my OB, but I need to reschedule for 1/13. I literally can't take anymore time off work and it just so happens we have a few 1/2 days for parent-teacher conferences and professional development coming up so I am going to try to get my appointments in then.

GTKY: Has your SO gained any sympathy weight? Nope, but he has lost weight like I have. I think because we are eating much healthier and can't afford take-out or eating out anymore. We'll see what the free holiday food does though!
