On Cloud Nine - Verifi Results

Today is one of the best days I have had in a while. I just called my OB and they had my results from my Verifi tests ( I got the verifi and carrier screenings, I just turned 35 so I am an oldie).

Everything came up negative for carrier and genetic abnormalities. I am so happy and relieved!!!

We will also get to know the sex of our baby tonight. I asked the nurse to write it down instead of telling me so that I can find out at the same time as my husband. I will pick it up on the way home from work, but who can concentrate?!?

Any ideas of what to do tonight to celebrate and find out the news? This is likely our only pregnancy so it's our one chance. 

Thanks all, we havne't told many people and I am just bursting at the seams.

    This is great news!!!!!! I'm so happy for you!

    For the reveal you can go to a super fancy restaurant and read the gender over dessert. Or go with classic take it to a bakery and get either cupcakes or a cake made :) how exiting!!!

    Wonderful news! You must be over the moon! Good for you!!

    Enjoy the gender reveal tonight! I like the idea of going to a bakery with the envelope & asking them to make you a cupcake or cake with the filling, and then you two can cut into it together tonight... maybe set up a camera to record your reactions or have someone film it for you?? Enjoy!!

    Congrats!!! That's super exciting news!! I definitely like the going out for dinner idea or a special romantic dinner at home. You can then celebrate by starting to buy things for your little boy or girl.

    Stay at home, open the envelope, then make out with your husband.

    I do like the idea of video taping it. So set the camera up. But turn it off before the make out session.....or don't.... :-)

    Fantastic news.  Enjoy every minute of the peace this info brings-- I'm in the midst of "the wait", and very much looking forward to good news on the other end.
