I am 12 DPO and have been getting a positive HPT for several days now. Tonight at dinner I had a severe dizzy spell that lasted about a minute. Throughout dinner I had a handful more. The last one resulted in nausea and an upset stomach.
Any thoughts? I'm healthy with no medical issues. My blood pressure and blood sugar are usually normal. I'm 29. I'm high risk because I have a unicornuate uterus. I take 200mg progesterone at bedtime and a prenatal vitamin. No other meds.
I've never been dizzy in my life so it was pretty scary. Is this normal or cause for concern?

Re: Vertigo in early pregnancy
No experience but I highly suggest contacting your doctors office first thing in the morning, or call tonight if they have an after hours line.

Vertigo is when the world spins and tilts around you. You're still, but everything is moving. It tends to happen more when you're laying down. It's extremely unsettling and your balance is off; you may not be able to stand or walk. Vertigo is caused by a slew of inner ear issues and is unrelated to pregnancy. I second seeing your PCP and possibly going to PT if it's true vertigo. Look up the Epley method.
I have Ménière's disease and get horrible vertigo episodes once every couple of years. Very unfortunately for me, I got my most recent episode the night before Thanksgiving. When I was 8.5w pregnant and already nauseous all day long. It was my worst episode yet and I couldn't walk for about 12 hours. Missed Thanksgiving. Threw up every time I moved. It was bad. I called my OB just to make sure it wasn't alarming in any way regarding the pregnancy and she assured me it was not, and that if it was vertigo, it wasn't related to the pregnancy.
