1. I'm definitely a grammar judger as well. For the love of God, you have one language. Master it. (Obviously not talking about people who speak English as a second language)
2. People who use speaker phone in public.
3. Older toddlers w/ pacifiers.
4. People who live on FB. "OMG So and So said xyz on FB." "Well, they're FB friends so (insert dramatic interpretation)." Etc. Especially people who are out with their nose stuck in their phones looking at other people's lives on a website instead of living theirs right in the moment. An event like this is what made me go home and delete my account one day.
5. I'm also secretly judge-y about people who don't put any effort into their appearance before going out in public. I'm not talking about early morning bfast drive through runs like Melly. I'm talking like not only did they not put any effort in, but they clearly didn't bathe either. I'm not saying you have to look like a glamazon to go to the grocery store but at least wash your face and pull your hair back into a clean ponytail or something. I certainly don't have time for a shower every day but you'd never know it.
6. This one is kind of mean but here goes: People who've been in this country for a long time but still can't speak English. As in straight up refusing to learn after being here for 30 years (My own in-laws are in this group so while I'm not judge-y about this in a mean-spirited way, it is annoying.)
@klkonwi I always put socks on DD and I live in 1000 degree weather in FL. It's not even like I think she's going to be cold-- it's because I thought I'd be judged if she wasn't wearing any!

@klkonwi yours made me laugh because my kid never wore socks. It's finally chilly here and I almost took him out with no socks. I felt like a horrible mom! I've been much better about putting them on him now that it's cold.
I judge people by their clothes. Not brands but just how put together they look and how their clothes fit. This is so hypocritical though because I live in yoga pants. Mostly I just judge when people try to squeeze into stuff that's too small. Buy the right size!
I also judge posts on Facebook like, "I have the best husband. Thank you for the amazing flowers. I love you," along with a picture of the flowers. Don't you live with him? Could you not tell him thanks in person?
Also, I would NEVER cosleep! When do you have time for your husband?!? This was before I had a kid and started cosleeping-hahaha. Next thing I know, I'll be posting a hallmark card to DH on Facebook.

People who do not take pride in their surroundings. I don't care what your financial status is, try to keep your home looking the best it can be. For example, my husband used to live in a very dangerous, low income, part of NY. We would meet some people who kept their apartments nice, and would be mindful of the common areas. However, we met a girl on the elevator once who, while talking to us, was eating sunflower seeds and spitting the shells on the floor. Gross. And friends of ours invited us to their house for the weekend. Their big, beautiful home was just a mess. Dirty dishes on the counter, rotting fruit in the bowl, laundry everywhere. I just don't understand how people don't take pride in where they live.

I guess I've considered sweats and yoga pants pjs in addition to your normal PJ type clothes like flannel pants or fleece printed pants, etc. To be clear, I do not go out in flannel pants or fleece prints. I don't mind slumming it, but I'm not going to scream and advertise "I'm slumming it, everybody!!"
I can't remember the last time I've seen someone in PJs in public. Then again I live in a town full of judgers so that's probably why. Pretty sure we have the classiest Walmart in the country (still not saying much...)

It seems kind of weird to me when parents baby wear an older toddler. I've got a bad back though so even if I wanted to I couldn't baby wear that long. My LO is going to have to learn to be independent as soon as she can. Luckily I can already tell she has a feisty independent spirit anyway. She's not into being held when she can be moving around exploring. Who knows though. We all make do & adapt as we need to.
I never had an opinion on this until yesterday. I saw a mom carrying her clearly 3 year old in what looked like a Moby wrap. It was painful and super weird to watch. Neither or them looked comfortable.

I judge people who say they want to be healthy for their families, but don't take proper care of their family. Particularly my sister's SIL. I know her and we're friendly. She is part of some health craze called 21 day fix by beachbody and is a "coach". All she ever posts about online or talks about IRL is her diet. She is a SAHM of a 3 year old girl and twin girls who are almost 1. She has said, "I don't give the twins baby food much, it's just too much of a hassle, so I just give them bottles". Every picture she posts is of her in gym shorts and a sports bra working out with the poor babies on boppy pillows drinking their bottles. She posted one picture of the 3 year old sitting on one of the babies. She has time for working out and meal prep for herself and hubby, but she doesn't have time to give her babies actual food? She complains about money and not having things she needs for her kids, but she goes to "health conferences" all the time and to buy herself really expensive shakes. One day she posted a picture of her 3 kids and said, I love these 4 things more than anything." I'm looking in the picture for her husband or even the dog, but no, it's her shake. You put your shake in the same category as your children? This is not ok.
Sorry to those of you who do it, but it irritates me when people misuse apostrophe s ('s) and use it for plurals. Do you just not know this or are you doing it accidentally? For example, more than one mama should be "mamas" not "mama's," and it should be bananas not "banana's" for more than one. Doesn't matter what letter the word ends with, just use "-s" or "-es" for more than one. "Mama's" something means something belonging to Mama. Can someone please clarify why everyone is suddenly getting this wrong all the time? I have been seeing it on signs and stuff too, not just online.
Hmm, who do I secretly judge? I know I'm not better than anyone and everyone is making the best choices they can with the knowledge that they have. Therefore, although I'm glad I'm making some parenting choices that seem right to me, I know other people are operating on different information and priorities. I'm actually jealous of mommies who babywear because I've never been able to do it successfully (my LO is so freaking heavy, I can carry him for short distances in my arms, but never figured out how to make a carrier thing work--I'm also clumsy and DH was afraid I'd drop him). So that wouldn't be one. I do secretly slightly judge someone who said she sleep trained her daughter and also doesn't celebrate Christmas...either one of these I can recognize as a valid choice depending on the needs and culture of the family but somehow the two together strike me as a bit sad. I don't know enough about the family to really tell, maybe they show love for their daughter in lots of other ways, but the one time I saw the little girl she looked kind of fearful. I hope I'm wrong and she has a wonderful life though.
I judge religious people who act like jerks - especially Christians who act holier than thou, but hate gays, judge people, etc.
I judge people whose babies only wear brand new, name brand clothes. Only because I find those people often aren't saving for college or more meaningful things, then get all judgy about people who have money to go out to eat, on vacation, etc.
I judge people who act like victims and don't help themselves out with good decisions.
I judge people who aren't generous, especially if they have the resources to be, and/or the "moral framework" (religion) to be. (If you are pro-life but anti-welfare or support systems for single moms or needy babies, I'm looking at you.)
I used to judge grammar but now I have so many typos. But I judge teachers' systematically wrong grammar.
I judge people who are not self aware.
I judge people who are rude to their families.
I mostly judge myself because I'm a hypocrite and a jerk and still hold others to unfairly high standards.
PS, I am very political on Facebook. I like reading others' political views and shared articles. I judge people who use social media but complain about it - either curate your info so it's what you want to see, or don't use it!

The anti-abortion, anti-gay "Christians" give the rest of Christianity a bad name. Nowhere in the bible does it tell you to shun gays but it does tell you not to associate with people who are divorced, people who wear mixed-fabric clothes, gluttons, and men who lust after women. I judge when people post on Facebook to look for people to ask questions. Like someone who says "I'm so upset". They are just looking for people to push and ask questions.
