I have 30 lbs to lose asome well. I'm with you in spirit but not sure if I'll have the time to commit. My LO has been so fussy lately and won't let me put him down. I'm looking into baby boot camp classes or fit4mom. Both are stroller workout classes. One has additional strollga classes while the other has baby barre. We'll see if baby and I like them. Anyone done either of these before?

    Edited: corrected names of programs

  • What i like about BBM is all the work oits are about 20 mins.
  • Meee.. Maybe we could start a Facebook group where we could check in with each other with daily workouts or whatever and share recipes and stuff ?.. I know I could use the motivation and it's easier to look at Facebook I think?
  • Aww..i dont have facebook :(
  • I'm in! I've been sneaking out to the gym (my husband is an angel and he takes the baby!) for two days now and already I feel better (scale hasn't moved yet). Been watching my diet too.

I have 20lbs to lose to get back to my pp shape.

I don't have fb would love to stay connected via the bump or maybe insta ?

  • Bummer. I could do Instagram.. I am horrible at checking this board but I'm definitely interested. We just bought an exercise bike on Black Friday so I'm hoping I can get on it someday if my babe ever stops screaming!
  • I love the exercise bike! I do it while holding lo! I use my fitbit so i dont need to rely on the bike for heart rate. Im on day 2 of bbm and im sore as heck but feel so good!
@rms924- your husband rocks! As do you for having motivation for the gym!
I go back to work in 4 weeks and I'm going to make the gym part of my daily work schedule before i pick up lo from daycare.
I have 30 lbs to go (i was 15 about where i wanted to be prepregnancy) im pretty impressed with this meal plan. Seems weird at first but every meal ive made has been good!
Trying to go 15 days without weighing myself to hopefully see progress!
    Goodluck! And keep it up!!

  • I'd love to join y'all! I don't have Facebook either but here or Instagram would be awesome! I have 30 pounds to go as well maybe I can call it 25 since my body is definitely a different shape! Haha I've been substituiting 2 meals a day for a fruit smoothie. I do strawberries, bananas, vanilla yogurt, spinach and a small glob of peanut butter! I've already lost 7 pounds- plus the gym.
  • Curious about the meal plan too, are the meals simple enough to make? My LO gives me minimal free time so fast is key

I think I need to start doing smoothies too. Good idea.
  • The meaks have been pretty simple. Let me take a look and see if its something i can email. Its 5 meals a day. Some seemed a little weird but i tweaked them to dit what i like. Basically its a high protiene clean diet. I wasnt theilled until i actually tried the foods. (I had bought the groceries so committed to at least the first week, but im impressed.
  • ...sorry about all the typos..
  • @KristynLee15 that's a good idea! Maybe I can throw LO in the baby carrier and get some time in on the bike.. She might like it! Do any of you use MyFitnessPal??
  • I love my fitness pal!! I actually have it hooked up to my fit bit!
  • I love my fitness pal!! I actually have it hooked up to my fit bit!

My fitness pal and I have a love hate relationship ie sometimes the amount that I eat depresses me and I lie to it! Ugh

I've been going to the gym but having a really hard time w diet. I ate a box of Lucy's cookies tonight, 800 cal. I am just exhausted, plain and simple and I have another fun night ahead of me.

My insta is @queenraj for those that want to follow. I don't post a lot right now but if I know you guys are on then I can start documenting my journey :) maybe it will make me feel more accountable.

  • Ill have to set up an instgram! I do the same thing with my fitness pal. Im also trying to commit to not weighing myself all the time.
  • I just went to my first stroller strides workout today and feel amazing. being out in the fresh air and endorphins was much needed. I feel like a new person. I will definitely be working out more often.
  • fell off the wagon today re: food but looking forward to a workout and staying on track tomorrow! I will check in with you guys. I just had a super stressful day trying to figure out childcare. I go back to work in 1 week!!

  • I decided to try the workouts after seeing this post and i LOVE it!! I'm on day 4 and love the main girl. Love how real she is and love how quick the workouts are! So thanks for posting!! I didn't buy the nutrition but I've just been eating a ton of protein so we shall see! I'm super excited though
  • Ive fallen off the meal plan :( and to be honest the woekouts too. Dd has been so fussy i havent had even the 15 mins. Ive been eating well just not her meals. Weigh in is monday so well see!! Good work ladies!! Keep it up!
  • @zetlopez I've been attending fit4mom stroller strides / barre classes for two years! I started when DS was 6 months old and have really enjoyed them ever since. I definitely recommend them. Some of my best mom friends have come from those classes and we all get together for play groups after class and have holiday parties. You should try it!

  • @CocoR04 glad to hear someone has taken the classes. I loved my first workout. my area offers one week free so I plan to try the stroller barre class as well. I really want to get back into a workout routine and if I can involve LO then that's even better.
  • Love this! I have been working out 5-6 days a week for the last 4 weeks and my weight hasn't budged since I started :( ... But I'm definitely toning up and not so jiggly in my tummy, so try not to pay too much attention to the scale! I suck at sticking to any diet so that could be my problem too..
  • I can stick to the doets easier than the workouts unless im going to the gym then i have a whole routine down. So looking forward to it. For now im doing the best i can!
Im proud of all you ladies! Our bodies just did an amazing thing so lets see what else we can get it to do!!

I worked out until 38 weeks and had this exact thought today! I can't believe how out of shape I am compared to 38 weeks. Even at 41 weeks, I was speed walking through the mall and hauling my toddler around like it was nothing. Can't wait to have strength again! And lose 20lbs.

We are in the same boat! I can barely get through a spin class! Been better w diet. So far I've lost 3lbs in 2 weeks. Shoot me now. I'll be menopausal by the time I'm back in my old clothes!

  • I actually prefer the fitbit app now. I find it a little confusing when its connected to my fitness pal.
