I want to know NOW!

Just venting.....


So early on my boyfriend and I decided to do a gender reveal party ( I know not everyone is a fan of these, but just stick with me here).
Anyways he wanted to be team green and I don't have the patience for that, so it was actually his idea to go ahead and do the gender reveal party so that he can still be "kind of surprised".
Plus it's a great excuse to get all those we love together in the same room. Which is really hard because I come from a blended family. This will be there first time our families get to meet each other, so should be interesting. 

Anyways my best friend is in charge of putting the reveal together so we can be surprised with everyone else.... she picked up the results the the harmony test I had done yesterday. Knowing that someone else knows the gender of my baby and I don't is killing me. I kind of want to change my mind and just have her tell me lol. I know she won't cave though. I even considered just calling my doctors office and saying change of plans just tell the results. But I'm trying to be good and wait until next weekend.... which is so far awayyyyy. 

I'm practicing patience... but I WANT TO KNOW NOW!!!

Haha, anyone else experiencing this???

    I was like that with my DD. This time, eh. We won't be able to find out until after Christmas so I'm not even focused on that right now.

    I can't imagine someone else knowing the sex of my baby before me! We found out we are having a boy at 16 weeks. Being the first to know (besides H and my mom who were in the room) was the best feeling.

    In your situation, I would probably just wait, though. It sounds like this was your compromise for not being team green. Try to stick it out! I know this will be hard, though!

    Don't give up on it! Your husband compromised & this is your compromise so stick with it. :)

    I've got to wait until 12/31 to find out, if that helps at all....So far away!

    I had the harmony test about a month ago but we didn't want to know the sex since we are team green. It was really hard at first to not call the doctor and find out but I've kind of gotten over it. Stay strong- finding out at the party will be a lot of fun and worth waiting a little bit!

    Glad we could help! I am dying to know for you now ha! Make sure you update us on the "tell us your baby's sex" thread when you find out! I love hearing about what everyone is having. :)

    Not experiencing it YET.... My appointment to find out the sex is on Dec 14th, and my SIL is throwing us a gender reveal on the 19th. So she is the only one who will know for a week!! and she is coming with us to my appointment on the 14th, its going to be killer. I know I'm all cool with the situation now, but come the 14th and I'm afraid it will be a whole different story!! Let us know when you FINALLY figure out what you are having ;)

    I'm not finding out until my anatomy scan next week, so just know there are some people waiting as long as you are! Consider it a practice in patience, since we will need patience as moms :)

    Thankfully my husband is just as impatient as me. We only toyed with the idea of a gender reveal for about 20 minutes before we thought "no". Plus we're both kind of smart alicks who think we'll be able to tell from the pictures before they say it's a girl (which we think it is).

    My anatomy scan is on Christmas Eve and I can't wait to find out. Gender reveal parties seem like a BUNCH of fun, though. I'm just too impatient

    I'm having my anatomy scan 10 days from now! I'm getting more and more excited about finding out what it is, especially since SO and I have agreed on names.
