Ha, we must share a brain. I just started a GTKY thread too.

I really enjoy running. I've only run once since I got pg and that was on Sunday. And I only did a mile. I feel so lazy

7. As in, the 7 siblings in my immediate family. It always seems like just the right amount of people in a group, although of course now that I'm a parent I think it's complete madness to have 7 children. My parents were out of control.

I can't think of one

my dream destination is Antarctica, although I have a hard time saying why it's so important to me. I get a big glossy travel brochure for Antarctica every year and I always sit and slowly look through it and usually cry. I'll go someday but it's extremely expensive and I don't know how I'll ever manage to do it with kids.

Jill, my best friend. I suck at maintaining friendships generally but we've been extremely close since high school.

The name of a sport or hobby that you enjoy.

Taekwondo. It's the only sport I've ever bothered to put in enough effort to get somewhat decent at. I have no natural talent for it, but I don't look like a complete buffoon out there anymore, at least.

I'm obsessed with The Weeknd right now. "In The Night" is my current always-on-repeat song. So good!

@NLewis1 I love running too! The last time I did it was the 26km trail run I did at 5 weeks not realizing I was pregnant, haha. I am jealous of your 1 mile. I wonder if I could go do the same without falling flat on my ass on the ice.

I love running, too! I haven't been able to run since the 2WW, though, as they were afraid of over-stimulation. I've been sick and tired since like the pee dried so I haven't tried again. I miss it.

An important or personal place that you have visited. Going to Philly and seeing all the history there was really cool. Our honeymoon in Belize was kind of personal because it was just H and I. And we stayed in a treehouse!
A name of a person who is important to you. my Grandpa (mom's dad). I used to spend summers there when I was younger. He is just so cool and inspiring. (If we have a boy, he will have his first or middle name)

A number which is important to you: 3 - Not sure why, but now that I am married to a Greek, everything they do seems to be in 3's (there was a lot of this in our wedding). And, I was one of 3 kids and I want 3 kids (I think).
An important or personal place that you have visited: New Orleans. I was going through major major anxiety (which is now under control) when we took a vacation there and it is where DH proposed. The anxiety made me not enjoy it as much and I hope to be able to go back there again soon (when not KU).
A name of a person who is important to you: Allie, my SIL.
The name of a sport or hobby that you enjoy: Running is the only "sport" I play. But I love to watch football (pro, not college). I also enjoying reading and bird watching.

A number which is important to you. 3 - I don't even know when it started but it's my favorite number. When I was a kid I was always #3 in sports.
An important or personal place that you have visited. The Oregon Coast. We visited it often when I was a kid, camping at state parks. I have so many fond memories of riding my bike with my brother around the parks, playing on the cold beaches and flying kites in the wind.
A name of a person who is important to you. Charlie. My brother.

1. The number 9. My birthday is 9/9, and it's always stuck with me as my number of choice.

2. We went to Costa Rica with ds when he was only 14 months for my hisband's 30th birthday. It was an amazing trip, and once in a lifetime experience.

3. Annalee. A friend who has been around when I needed a friend most. I don't have a lot of close friends in my life.

4. Sewing. I used to be a costume designer and I love when I get time to be creative. Also writing. (I don't do sports)

5. "I will try to fix you" for personal reasons.
And "Fight Song" because it's so funny watching my kids dance to it

England. I am from there but we moved here when i was a teen. My aunt and uncles house in particular. They live in a super old cottage and almost all of my childhood memories took place there. I visited it on Google Maps the other day to show DH all the places I grew up and I sobbed.

My great grandad Syd. He passed away when I was 10 and he meant the world to me. Id do anything to have him back.

An important or personal place that you have visited. Denmark to visit with my family. Egypt was on my bucket list too and I was blessed to have gone there to see the Pyramids about 10 years ago.
A name of a person who is important to you. Karen...my grandmother who raised me. We love it as a girl's name and are thinking of using it (she pronounced it "Car-ryn").
The name of a sport or hobby that you enjoy. I'm not much of a sports person but I do like working out. I also love cooking....you know, to balance all that working out.
The name of a song that you enjoy listening to. For some reason "Walking in Memphis" is in my head...we used to listen to Marc Cohn's CD on long car rides. H and I also love "Harvest Moon" and I consider it "our" song...it would have been our first dance song but we decided to do a tango instead.

My grandparents' farm. We spent a lot of time there growing up as they only lived 45 mins from us. Now that my grandma is gone and my grandpa lives in a nursing home, going there is super special.

5. A lot of family birthdays fall on the 5th of different months...mine, brother, grandma, grandpa. My mom is the 10th and she always says half of that is 5, so she fits too! It's always been a special family number for us.

An important or personal place that you have visited.

This is a hard one, I've lived in 3 countries and traveled quite a bit. My husband and I have a happy place...Highlands, NC is where we escape to a few times a year. His parents have a place they don't use often and we love the mountains and disconnect from reality that is up there. We also got married there in 2014.

A name of a person who is important to you.

My Mom, Jackie. She's so amazing and always always there for me. She hasn't had the easiest time the past 8 years (divorce & single), but I'm glad we have each other!

Football, football, football! It's my favorite. I might enjoy playing it just as much as I love watching it. The Bucs are where it's at!

A number which is important to you. 4. Myself, my brother, my sister, and my husband were all born on the 4th of our birth month. My parents anniversary is on the 24th. We had to have our wedding on 8/2 because 8÷2=4. I'm a bit weird

An important or personal place that you have visited. Tennessee. I don't know what it is but I love that state, all parts of it (Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Gatlinburg)

A name of a person who is important to you. Bob is my grandpa and he really is the most amazing person ever! Him and my grandma had 6 kids of their own and adopted 4 kids (including my mom). He's just such a good person and always treats everyone equally. Our family is a mix between white and black because the kids they adopted were black and they were white but they raised everyone to not see color and I never even knew anyone in the family was adopted because they treated everyone the same which I think is amazing especially with all the race issues going on in the world. Our family feels special

@Scout27 The Oregon coast is awesome! We moved there when I was four. I moved away after high school but moved back in 2009. We plan on raising our family on this coast

A number which is important to you- none really. I always was #3 in sports for some reason but I have no real preference for any number.

An important or personal place that you have visited- The river where we live. It's like a second home. We spend so much time enjoying the sun and swimming there during the summer. We even got married at a lodge way up in the middle of nowhere on the river.

An important or personal place that you have visited. The most important place that we visit is the family cabin. It is where the best memories are made. My DH and I travel the world, but there is something special about the cabin.

The name of a sport or hobby that you enjoy. Soccer was my thing. I don't really play anymore because it is hard to do leagues with an inconsistent schedule and a 2 yo. I really want to dust off my knitting skills again. I used to be really good but haven't knit for a while.
