Soooo the underwear I have worn forever (briefs) are just not working out for me anymore with my growing tummy. STM's - what was the most comfy while pregnant, and FTM's - what are you wearing now to stay comfy? Thanks!!!
I have heard that it is easy just to buy a pack in the next size (or two) up. And probably cheaper than buying special maternity underwear (if there is such a thing?) since most undies come in a pack with multiple in them. Then again, I'm that cheapskate that has been wearing Hanes all my life and I know they come in a pack lol
Haha, I just made this comment in the "I hate pants" thread. The VS thick lace-banded cotton undies are great!! They're super stretchy on the waist but don't fall down. They come in a thong, bikini, and boy-short version.
I have worn American Eagle boy briefs since I was a teenager (I'm 33 now so it's my longest standing commitment by far). They're getting a little small but still very comfy. They always have 5 for $25 type deals so I'll scoop some up in a larger size soon.
I posted this in the "I hate pants" thread because there was a little bit of an underwear convo going as well. All of my underwear started rolling down underneath my cheeks a couple weeks ago so I went ahead and ordered these maternity underwear with a band up top and they've worked out great. I found a promo code making them cheaper and then they sell them in a 3 pack for ~$15 as well.

Omg, me too!! By far my longest standing commitment also! I noticed yesterday that mine are getting slightly small, so I'll probably pick up some a size up soon.

This! I'm going to buy more at after Christmas sales!

I have these too! So far so good in terms of comfort so I plan on sticking with them and just sizing up as needed.
I also posted this in the pants thread, but if you can stand thongs, the VS ones with the soft, thin elastic stay put and are low rise enough to fit under the bump without rolling.
I posted about the undies on the pants thread-I usually buy maternity undies from Motherhood, just haven't been to the mall yet. I go right to the clearance section and get last seasons undies for about $5-$7 a 3 pack. I'm sure they have bright/summery colored ones on clearance now
Buy maternity underwear!!! It's best decision! Seriously! It's wonderful! And they are no more expensive than regular underwear from Victoria Secret or La Senza. Buying a size or two bigger doesn't work because it makes the length of the waist to crotch area larger and that's not where you need space. Just makes you feel like you have a wad of cotton between your legs all day. Go to a maternity store and buy maternity underwear in your pre-pregnancy size and your life will be significantly improved. As an added bonus, they aren't granny panties either. They actually have cute/sexy ones still! Huge bonus with the whole weight gain thing that's happening.
I LIVED in a target brand, I think simply something by warners. I went up a size. The front almost V's down so the bump just lets itself go. When I slowly lost the pregnancy weight I went down a size but bought the exact cut. I love those underwear.
I'm still wearing the cheeksters from VS that have the lace top. I'm going to wear them as long as I can but I've noticed my granny panties are becoming increasingly more comfortable. So I anticipate in January or so I'm going to go buy a comfy pack of Hanes to help me get through the last few months.
Stretch panel panties I got from Walmart. They're the boy cut shorts and the sides in the front expand. They're not for pg but work awesome for pg. The come in a pack of 4 or 5. LOVE THEM

I was just talking to DH about this! I feel like I need some cute underwear for going out and getting dressed up, but at home I just want something comfy! I'm going to try out VS, and SIL gave me some maternity underwear that she never opened. I absolutely love Aeropostale's undies, so I may stick to them as well!
I'm still in my VS cheeky's and they are doing well and not getting to small yet. I like that they sit under my bump cause I am cheap and have had them for about 5 years and don't want to spend the money on new ones... I did buy a couple of lace top boy cut from Superstore though because more fabric is = more comfortable now...
I switched to American Eagle when I started growing out of my pre preg undies. They're cute, stretchy, and good quality. I'll never go back! Con: upfront cost is expensive (about $20 a pantie) but they're amazing
I didn't have any issues with having to switch underwear in my previous pregnancies, hoping I don't have to with this one.
The majority of the undies fit the entire time, but I did notice that my fancy panties from Agent Provacateur and La Perla did not want to go on the pregnancy journey with me. Those suckers have NO stretch whatsoever. Womp womp. Most other brands that aren't high-waisted seem to be stretchy and/or low enough to do the trick. Stretchy is the key!
LOL I had a c section last time and I've heard the 2nd time around underwear can irritate the scar. So we'll see. I just don't like any other kind of underwear.
Just kidding! Though at home I do a lot, but heading towards summer here so thats my excuse. I need to rethink my underwear. Ladt time I just wore bikini style under my bump, but with my c sect scar thats getting toi uncomfortable. May have to research maternity undies.

To be honest after a certain point in both previous pregnancies I just stopped wearing underwear. It wasn't worth it to me. I tried going up a size or two, different brands, it just didn't work for me and drove me nuts. I'm getting bigger alot faster this time and it's coming pretty quick for me again. The struggle is just not worth it to me.
