First baby and a little worried (9 weeks today)

I know each pregnancy is different but I've been really worried something bad is happening :/ the constant sea sickness is starting to disappear, my boobs don't hurt as much but still hurt, I still have heartburn....
Is everything okay? I guess I just don't know what to expect from all this and I'm worried that I'm going to miss something and then something aweful is going to happen. :(

Re: First baby and a little worried (9 weeks today)

  • I can't tell you if everything's okay.  Not clairvoyant.  But I can tell you that hormones tend to even out towards the end of the first trimester and symptoms can start to subside.  Today you're pregnant.  Go with it.

You know I woke up today and the same thing happened! And I'm 9 weeks too. Let's not be worried and be hopeful that going into our third month we will be able to eat food again! FTR I could repeat everything you said, so you're really not alone!
  • Call your Dr. If you are concerned :) they will be able to give more help then any of us. You are almost to second tri woohoo it could be your symptoms are easing up. Try to relax and feel free to call your nurses they are there to help!

  • I can only tell you my experience over the past few weeks (9 weeks today). My nausea, breast pain, and achey back are all unpredictable. Some days they are there (and overhwelmingly so), some days I feel like my normal, non-pregnant self (and I can actually get stuff done). Only my exhaustion and busy bladder are constant. I second the notion of checking in with your doctor if you are worried. I know we have had quite a few losses around here as of late, and that makes people both sad and nervous. In the meantime, eat a big meal and think positive! :)
  • Your risk of a mc at this point is 2%... aka 98% everything is cool. The odds are in your favor darling
  • Well I was thinking the same of my horrible nausea when I turned 9 weeks but that was short lived. It's back with a vengeance and I'm hardly eating again. But I ate while I could. Hope that helps you.
