Is this possible? All I want are salads, eggs and spicy foods, like hot cheetos. I'm going crazy because anything else makes feel sick like im dying or it's just nasty. I need help. Also when does morning sickness start?
Some people get morning sickness all day everyday for the whole pregnancy / weeks/ or months and others none at all. I'd pick up a pregnancy book or read some other threads on the same topic.
Why do you need help? If you're hungry, eat the foods you can stomach. Some people get m/s, some don't. It could start at any time really. Believe it or not there are a few more threads here on the topic of morning sickness. If you search you'll find them and they might comfort you/inform you.
Eat what you can and take your prenatal. I had a whole weekend at 7 or 8 weeks where the only thing I ate was cool ranch doritos (it was all that I could get down) but it was calories and given that I had already lost a number of lbs, it was what my body needed. Your prenatal has everything your baby likely needs at this point. Maybe you'll be like me and have a few days where you crave salad.
Eta-food aversions and mild nausea set in at 5.5 weeks for me. Full on vomiting set in at 6.5. Aversions to meat eased around 7 or 8 weeks, other foods not so much. I'm almost 11 weeks now and still am throwing up almost every morning. Some foods that I used to love just taste bad/off to me still.
The fact that you're craving salads and eggs is great! Those are two healthy foods, so nothing wrong with eating lots of both!
With my first pregnancy, I was nauseous most of the time and the only thing that fixed it was eating something small. That started around 5 weeks or so. Everyone experiences it differently though and I've known some people who never developed morning sickness at all (lucky girls!). The second trimester is easier for most, so just eat what you can and like pp said, make sure you're taking your prenatals.

hahah, this fo sho. there isnt a specific week you'll start getting morning sickness. no one here can tell you when/if it'll happen. & yes, it is very possible to get food cravings in early pregnancy.
I'm 5w 3d and in the same boat, craving spicy salty foods! I do also eat eggs and fruit/vegetables every day too. No morning sickness as of yet, keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way!
Re: Cravings @ 5 1/2 weeks?
