A moment of joy

I just came back from getting my "harmony" blood test done, and I'm doing a little jig.

The baby looks great- no cystic hygroma/fluid around the baby (which was completely surrounding our last baby at 12w, and ended at 14wks due to extreme cystic hygroma and Turner's diagnosis) heart rate at 168, and moving around like crazy! Another bonus is I was bumped up a week! Measuring 11w3d instead of 10w5d. I'm totally fine with fast forwarding time right now

Closer to my LMP dating anyway. New EDD: June 19.

SO, for this moment, as the doctor said: "we'll be cautiously optimistic"!

Will have to wait two weeks of course for the results, and likely have the Nuchal Translucent almost the same exact time as the results are due, but for now, I will revel in this moment of joy.

Thank you ladies for you support! This has been such a fraught process-- everything that could've possibly gone wrong with my first pregnancy did, and it's amazing to walk out of a scan like this with something nearing "good news".

I know the results will be whatever they are, but I have a pic of my baby on my fridge right now and it's awesome.
Last time we were so shell shocked by our terrible Nuchal translucent scan that we never even got a picture of the baby to take home (and they didn't offer it... maybe they thought we didn't want it??), and we never saw her after than until she was born at 14wks... and I asked not to see her. She was way too small and it would've been too painful.... I felt her presence though, and will forever more.

So you can see why this is difficult for us, but right now I'm embracing the positive, and hoping that this two weeks flies by. Looking forward to posting about more good news then.
