Hello mommy to bees and mommies I am 13 weeks pregnant and on Dec 17 I got my pap smear and blood work done this is my second pregnancy the doctor called yesterday with my results ever thing such as my pap smear were negative but I was tested positive for antibodies in my blood I'm Sooo curious right now on what's going to happen to me or my baby I will be seeing a specialist soon but I want insight from any mothers who have experienced this I didn't go through this with my first child and I'm a worry freak I have googled and researched but I'm still confused can someone please please let me know what to expect. Thank you

    If it's just the conflicting rh type, no worries, they have shots of rhogam to counteract your immune system. I have heard that it is more common in STM - their bodies sometimes "think" that the baby is a foreign body vs a normal process when their rh types don't match up and makes antibodies to defend itself.
