Blood clot in leg....

I waa recently discharged from the hospital after a 4 day stay that found a blood clot in a not so good area of my leg. I am just wondering if any other ladies have or are going through this at all right now too. I am sp incredibly scared that something terrible is going to happen and that Im doing everything wrong. Please any advice or kind words would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to anyone who replies it really means a lot to me I am incredibly scared and worried that Im not doing things correctly right now and could really use some encouragement!

    I am sorry to hear that you are going through this. I can only imagine how scary that is! My dr thought I had one last weekend but it turned out to be a ruptured bakers cyst. So while I don't have any first hand advice I know a few women on his board have mentioned having one previously as well. Sending thoughts and prayers your way!

    I don't have one but I thought that as long as they catch it there is usually no problem and it sounds like they caught and treated yours--- and I am sure they will probably monitor you from here on out (and in postpartum and future pregnancy). The scary things about DVT are when they don't catch them.

    Hi! I've had 2 DVT's in a vein in my collar bone area, non pregnancy related. The most important thing I can tell you is that the injectible medicine they have given you and that you will now continue to take throughout your pregnancy work so amazingly well. Follow your doctors instructions and you will do great. You can message me if you have any specific questions. I've been living with this for over 20 years so feel free to pick my brain.
