Maybe. Or you've got a stomach bug. Or you're just really pregnant. If you feel like you might be in labor you need to call your care team. No one here can tell you if you are in labor or not. If you are looking to compare/contrast symptoms, check out the birth stories thread. Most folks here are going to tell you to call your doctor, though.
I wish you a happy, healthy labor and delivery whenever that time may come.
Contractions are a sign of labor. It sounds like you may have a stomach bug, but it's merely speculation. The only person who can advise you in this area is your provider
I had diarrhea for several days just before Thanksgiving. OB told me it was probably unrelated to labor and she was right because it's gone away and baby is still nice and comfy in my belly.
For me the stomach pains / diarrhea turned almost immediately into contractions ... Like with in 30 min to an hour. So I'd agree with PPs ... Wait for contractions, have fun reading the other birth stories / 'what contractions felt like' thread & call you Dr in the case your symptoms don't stop ... You may have a bug.
Re: 38 weeks 5 days have had diarrhea and nausea all day is this a sign of labor?
I wish you a happy, healthy labor and delivery whenever that time may come.
