Hello and Intro (child mentioned)

Hi ladies,

I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself - I'm 35, married, have one son (5) and am trying to conceive #2. I went off BC about two months ago. We've been trying, but I haven't yet had AF. I've been testing, and definitely not BFP. I'm thinking about trying an ovulation predictor kit next. For some reason I'm really nervous this time around. I'm looking forward to spending more time here offering and receiving support along this journey we're all on!

    Me (42) w/ partner for 16+ years
    TTC #1: 11/2012 - 9/2013; 6/2014 - present
    Follistim + TI (3x): All BFNs
    Follistim + IUI (1x): BFN 
    IVF #1: 17 retrieved,15 fertilized, Day 3: 15, Day 5/6: 3 biopsied
    Result; 1 frozen blast (inconclusive PGS results)
    IVF #2; ER: 6/22 16 retrieved, 6/25: 5 transferred (CP), 2 frozen
    FET 9/17: BFN
    Current FET -- Transferred 2 day-3 embryos - BFN

    Welcome and good luck! I have heard it can take a while for some people to get their normal cycle back after going of BC Pills so I agree that an ovulation kit would be helpful in letting you know when to time trying since you don't know what your cycle will be like yet. Its funny but I was also, and still am, really nervous the second time around. I think its because we have gone through it once already, we are more aware now of everything that can go wrong, whereas the first time I was so blissfully unaware of what problems could be in store for us. I hope you have an easy TTC journey the second time around!
