Not a dr but in my experience (STM), that looks normal. Both of my kids went through a period where their skin looked like that and grew out of it. Definitely reach out to your dr if you are concerned. Always good to have the peace of mind.

I thought she was cold the first time but she felt warm to the touch and she was in a sleeper and we live in Hawaii so I really didn't think it was possible but it could be!
Mottled skin can be completely normal for newborns/infants. It is a symptom of their immature cardiovascular system. Babies will grow out of this, but as pp said it can be caused by fluctuations in temperature. I wouldn't be concerned if that is the only symptom your lo is having, but bring it up at your next baby check-up. It always makes me feel better when I hear something straight from the doctor
That is how our babies skin looks. We live in Florida so I know what you mean saying you didn't think baby could be cold! If I put him in anything other than a onesie he sweats like crazy! I guess I'll try keeping him covered more.
