Not looking good

7 weeks and 2 days today, been going every week for ultrasounds and every 2 days for bloodwork. Levels going up like they're supposed to but ultrasound still shows empty sac. So tired of this whole thing already.

  • Are they transvaginal?
  • Sorry, I know waiting can be so stressful. Just try to stay positive. It's a good sign that your levels are going up I would think. Maybe you just aren't as far along as what you think.
  • Hugs to you. I know that some docs highly advise against doing ultrasounds until at least 8 weeks because the baby can be very difficult to spot. Are you having other concerning symptoms? I would say there is definitely hope given your levels are increasing. Hang in there. Hope all will be well.
  • No I know when my last period was. And even if I ovulated late that would only put me back about a week and my gs isn't even measuring at 6 weeks. Levels will still rise because the sac is still present and your body can continue to think it's pregnant for a while before miscarrying. I have had no cramping or bleeding at all this entire time but I don't feel optimistic at all. I can just see it in everyone's faces when I get ultrasounds. I have a follow up with my ob tomorrow and I guess I'll find out my options then.

  • Sending hugs. What is the sac measuring? You could have ovulated more than a week late. Sending creepy (((hugs))) for everything to work out. I know how awful this waiting is and I'm hoping you get good news.
  • I can't imagine how worrisome that can be. Try to take deep breaths and remember you are still kinda early to see anything. And your levels are still rising which sounds great. You're in my prayers!! Hang in there

  • I'm sorry about your situation. I had a blighted ovum before. And my last pregnancy ended with my baby dying at 8 weeks and I didn't know until I went back at 12 weeks for another ultra sound. It's hard to keep losing them. I am 9 weeks 2 days now and I go back later this month. I hope I get good news. And don't give up hope cause you could have ovulated very late and be really early that's why it's not showing up yet.
  • I'm pretty much in the exact same situation.   I still feel very pregnant - absolutely no signs of spotting - but I received similar reactions to my ultrasound (so not feeling very optimistic).  I decided to wait 3 weeks before going back just to be sure, but I'm now finding the wait to be unbearable.  It's tough when you can't talk to anyone about the potential loss since they don't even know your pregnant yet.  Hang in there - hopefully at least one of us will have good news at the end of this.
  • There was no yolk sac and the sac is still measuring under 6 weeks. Even if I ovulated a week late it's still measuring smaller than that. All of my pregnancy symptoms are gone as of this morning.
  • And everyone does know I'm pregnant thanks to my mother in law for putting it on facebook.
  • That is terrible. I'm sorry.
  • Hoping for the best for you! *hugs*
  • I'm so sorry you're going through this
  • I'm so sorry. Those quiet ultrasounds are heartwrenching. And I can't believe your MIL spilled your news on Facebook.  My mom told my aunt about my miscarriage and she posted on my facebook page that she was so sorry about what DH and I are going through which prompted a million questions from people.
