Post a photo of your SO/DH's attempt at Swaddling!
Sometimes at this point in our pregnancies it can be very stressful with our loved ones. My DH and I practiced tonight and it was so much fun watching him attempt this!
I don't have a photo but we are on kid #3 and this is the third time around DH and I have "failed" Swaddle Wrapping 101 at the hospital lol we both joke around that neither one of us is destined to open a Mexican restaurant since we can't wrap a baby or a burrito to save our lives! Also it doesn't help that we have freakishly strong babies that turn into mini Hulks and then flex their pecs and shoulders to bust free of anything short of a blanket that's been wrapped and sealed with duct tape.
So, we cheat and use the Halo brand swaddle wraps generally it takes our kids about three weeks before they can burst free of the Velcro!
So funny, my DH is the swaddled master! We're on #3 and with #1 we only used the muslin wraps, no Velcro and DH would say 'out of the way, master swaddler coming through!' Ha! It did take practice though!!
We haven't tried swaddling but we did try our Moby wrap on our cat!
We did that too!!! Our cat actually liked it..he's so snuggly. 20lb Maine coon mix. Haha
Are all Maine Coons snuggle bugs? Ours is so easy going & you can hold him any way you like. He'll purr & be totally relaxed even if you dangle him from his hind legs, he just doesn't care what you do to him as long as you're touching him.

Maybe so!!
Oh, here's a picture of trying the sling carrier..... We had to forcibly remove him.
What this thread has turned into is making my night and I can't stop laughing at these photos. Did y'all sedate your felines to make this work? Mine would have an aneurism if I tried to do this to them!

George is just incredibly snuggly! I named him that with the old "hug him and squeeze him and call him George" cartoon in mind. He's certainly lived up to it. I think large breeds of animals tend to be more chill.... Like Great Danes making good apartment dogs cos they're basically couch potatoes.
My cat Oliver was a trooper. We are going to swaddle him next. First was the Moby wrap though and he just hung out in it till he had enough. He's a large, orange, half Maine coon so that might be why he's down for any snuggles. I'm so interested in seeing how he reacts to baby. I love seeing this pictures too. Makes me giggle!
Oliver gets swaddled! He was fine all wrapped up until I tried to readjust it. He didn't care for his front legs being wrapped up. Can't wait to try this with a squirming baby!

DH will be better at diapers than me. Although we both have a lot to learn as far as swaddling is concerned.
