Swollen eyes

When I was pregnant with my first, I broke out in hives. The last week, my eyes have gradually grown tender and swollen. And by today, I'm in tears. I'm over it. I have taken Benadryl, and I use ice packs at work. Nothing is helping. Is this common?
I live in Wisconsin, and there is nothing around that would put any allergies in full force.

    I would see you primary care provider in case it is pink eye. I would also try a warm compress over ice packs.

    I'll try the warm compress. It's not pink eye, I know that. I just really wish it would have been hives again. I can deal with that!

    Good luck. I'm in WI too and my allergies have been pretty bad recently. Went down a bit with the snow but still. Also, they got worse when I moved to WI from NC, which one wouldn't expect. There must be something up here!
