Heard the amazing sound today....

I found the baby's heartbeat on my home doppler today!  Best. Sound. Ever!!!!!
I'm 9w6d, and this is my 3rd baby. 
I was too cheap to buy one of these things with my first two, but I'm so nervous about this baby, I caved and bought one last week. 
I am just so excited and I had to share with someone (well, several someones :) )  Yay!

    That is such a wonderful sound!! In too wary to get one, I have an anterior placenta and I've heard it can be hard to get a heartbeat at home because the placenta blocks the heartbeat. I don't want to think there is no heartbeat when there is, so I'll live vicariously through all you who have dopplers at home :)

    @CopperLane I completely understand.  I've never had an AP, but I hesitated to get one for similar reasons.  What if you can't find it then you worry possibly unnecessarily.  But I just couldn't help myself, lol

    @CopperLane I had an anterior placenta with my daughter and they weren't able to get her heartbeat on the Doppler until my second trimester! Also, I felt kicks a lot later than most other moms I knew. It can be a bit of a bummer, but it all came alone eventually!

    I'm so bummed about the late kicks. My midwife got the heart beat on her Doppler at my 12 week scan. She lost it pretty quickly though. As long as I have a healthy nugget, I can live with later kicks.

    That's awesome!! I'm looking into getting one myself. Can I ask what brand you got? I've heard bad things about some of them, like the Summer brand.

    I got the Sonoline B! Website was fetaldoppler.com or .net I think. Free shipping was pretty fast too!
