Lower abdomen pain

I am 23 weeks preg today. And for the last few days I've been having lower abdomen pain, which is sharp, but only lasts for a few minutes and goes away, it doesn't matter which position I am in or if I change positions, it's just really painful, it doesn't stick around too long, it eventually goes away after a few minutes, I've heard about braxton hicks but I'm not sure that is what's causing the pain. My baby moves alot also, I am just wondering if it is cause for Concern to call my doctor... there is no weird discharge either.

Any ideas?

    I had similar sharp pain starting at 15 weeks, in my lower abdomen in the center directly below my belly button. My doc said this was the ligaments growing and stretching. Sharp pains are associated with ligaments and muscles, dull pain would be something to be concerned about.

    Round ligament pain. Totally sucks but you can't really do anything for it. And it's normal.
