So sick :(

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and I've been so sick for the last 5 days. I can hardly move from my sofa. It lasts all day every day and I have yet to find something that gives me relief for just a couple of hours. I have to do therapy with 52 children over Monday and Tuesday and I just don't know how I'm going to do it. I don't know how other women have made it through this phase but I'm not coping well. Any advice would be great. I just don't think I can handle this for another month or more.

Re: So sick :(

  • Have you called your doctor?

  • I am in the same place as you. Can't keep anything down and just feel like crying. No suggestions except call your doctor ASAP! There's Diclegis an a suppository that they can prescribe.

  • While this may not help, I always find when I have some kind of work to focus on, I am so much better at forgetting about it that I cannot wait to go to work tomorrow. While this may not be the case for you, I am hoping it for you! And...call your doctor.
  • I was like this early this morning. I was whining to my husband about it via text. Eventually I just got up and ate. Eat small amounts often. Went grocery shopping too. Being out in fresh air helped. It might not help everyone but it worked for me.
  • Call your doctor, don't put yourself through that for too much longer. With my first pregnancy, I chalked it up to just typical morning sickness, because of course I didn't know what MS was. I ended up losing 12 pounds over 2 weeks, and was put on meds. Looking back, I should have called the dr after just a few days of violently throwing up. Just not a healthy situation.
  • I've been eating small meals every couple of hours and my boss (my life saver) bought me sea bands. One on each wrist and I feel much better! Still queasy but no more dry heaves or throwing up. Oh and my cracker of choice - oyster crackers! Not as salty as saltines and good with everything. I throw kids parties every weekend. I can't afford to be sick. Thankfully I only have MS and not HE!
    Hope you find some relief!
  • Call your doc and ask for medication.
  • Unisom it's at target and life saver as well as b6 call your dr first but they have helped me a ton! Hope you get to feeling better soon!

  • Yeah I hate feeling sick. I puked today and my husband was like why didn't you make it to the bathroom. I was too sick to run or leave bed....
  • I have been so sick too since 5 weeks!  I start to get discouraged and wonder how I am going to make it through work for the next 2 months!  How am I supposed to survive? ? ? ?
