Lingering PP problems?

Does anyone else have any lingering PP problems? I swear my bladder is wrecked. I pee at least 20 times a day. I can't fully empty my bladder. My dr. Said it would get better but I'm 19 weeks PP and it's still horrible. I can't imagine how my bladder would be after a third LO.

Re: Lingering PP problems?

  • I was having back pain where I got the Epidural but that has seen to go away. Although I'm scared of doing heavy lifting now. They say it takes up to 1 year for our bodies to go back to normal.

  • I still throw up and dry heave and get bad naseau. I think it's just different for everyone :) Some people just take longer to recover.
  • My hair is still shedding quite a bit :(

I can't wait for my body to get back to normal. I know things take time but 9 months of pregnancy plus 4 PP seems like forever.
@Melis222 my hair is also still falling out like crazy.
  • Where my epidural was still hurts. My back aches when I hold my child, in my spine! And sometimes my back goes numb! Annoying. And now that I'm not breast feeding anyone my boobs look like flap jacks
  • @Mariahst My boobs are horrible too. Thank the lord for VS push up bras!
  • @Melis222 & @beeish ugh! I'm in the same boat... Shedding hair is NOT fun.

@Mariahst I didn't have boobs to begin with but they are just sad now, lol

I feel like my rib cage is sticking way out and many of my tops are fitting funny because of this. Will this go back to normal?

Also, using tampons are super uncomfortable now :/

  • I am 17 weeks PP. Hair comes out a lot and my bowels have never been the same since birth. Need to take stool softeners daily to avoid constipation and fissures! Pain in the arse....literally lol x
  • I'm on my second bladder infection since giving birth. I hadn't had one for 5 years prior but now they won't stop and hurt so bad :,( my hair is Also falling out everywhere. My incision from c section is still numb, and I am still 10lbs from pre pregnancy so ya my body is jacked
  • Hair loss
    Terrible knee pain
Shoulder and back pain from nursing
  • @lovermyboys3
I had the same problem for two months! My infection is finally gone but I still can't empty my bladder. Bladder spasms are f'n horrible. I hope you feel better soon.
  • Plantar fasciitis hurts like hell. I'm gonna blame the relaxin hormone. Also, pre pregnancy jeans don't fit because I guess I forgot to delver the baby/ babies living in my thighs.

Knee pain!! I didn't have that with my first...I didn't realize that was from having a baby! I thought I was just getting old. Lol. Will it go away?
  • I also have a terrible sore spot on my spine from the epidural. My hair is now falling out quite a bit and I bruise even easier now . I've always bruised easily but it seems worse. They appear and I know that I'm not bumping into things or hitting my arms/legs that much to have that many bruises!
  • Hair is still shedding a lot. DH hates it. I threw my back out two weeks ago and still recovering from that. For some reason I still have pregnancy brain. I'm 19 weeks PP. and it's driving me crazy. I can't remember shit. And it's made my dyslexia and stuttering really bad. Thank god for auto correct.
  • I'm nauseous 100% of the time lately
  • @Meliss -- Yes it should, but it takes time.  It happens because  your pelvis changes shape during delivery and it's also an effect of the relaxin.  There are certain muscles in your legs that you can strengthen to ease the pain, but I forgot which ones they are.  I read a great article written by a physical therapist on postpartum knee pain… it's a thing!
  • My hair is shedding like mad
I've also had knee pain, I've sat with my legs in a W shape since I was a kid and now it hurts, they also pop every time I go to sit down.
    And I'm super gassy?
  • I'm with PP. I'm still having bowel issues.
  • Bowl issues and I'm having a lot of pain in my lower abdomen from my csection. The dr says its normal but sex is really painful too. I'm convinced he left a sponge in there or something but doc thinks it's fine.
