I found out at my early ultrasound I'm having twins. I'm feeling very nervous there is a possibility the twins are mono mono. Anyone else go through this?
At our 6.5 week ultrasound, we found out we are having twins. We are pretty sure they are fraternal though. My anxiety is pretty high, I'm eager to see both of them and make sure they are ok.
We found out our single embryo transfer spilt into identical twins yesterday. I'm trying not to get too worked up about the possibility of mono mono TTTS as scary as it sounds.
I know that mine are di-di (thick membrane separating showed at 7 week ultrasound). I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow. I can't wait to find out if everything is still ok! Don't you wish you had a window to 'see'?!!

I am also really curious if my midwife will be able to decipher 2 heartbeats at my next regular appointment with just the Doppler. Like - how can she tell it's not just one baby's heartbeat? I'm sure this is a no-brainer for professionals. My next sonogram is Nov. 4th but I'm antsy. Reading about 'vanishing twins' totally freaked me out! Don't google it!
I found out a 9 weeks that I'm having MoDi identical twins! I'm excited, but it is really scary. I have to go every 2 weeks to get an ultrasound to monitor for TTTS.

Hopefully they have figured out you're actually MoDi by now, mama Ashbash1109. (Easy one there, there are 100 MoDi for every MoMo Pair). Come see us at MoDi Twins on Facebook. BTW if on the off chance they ARE momo, look for Criona Franklin's MoMo Twins:Pregnancy Birth and More, also on Facebook, or Becca Siewert Warner's MoMo Twins Support. All the aforementioned twins gestational types are considered High Risk, these groups have excellent Admin & peer counseling resources to help you navigate these often Spooky gestations.
