Pregnant Using Clomid? Anyone?

I am 6 w and 3 d pregnant. I got pregnant using clomid and I am spotting brown (more like discharge) just once in awhile. My doctor said no sex and no heavy lifting for two weeks but did not seem too concerned. We saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks (113). I was just wondering if maybe spotting is something that is normal while on fertility meds? I read that somewhere but wasn't sure if Clomid was in that category. Is anyone else having this symptom? Also, what are you symptoms?

I didn't use clomid to concieve but I did conceive through ivf. I haven't had spotting, but spotting in early pregnancy is extremely common

  • Brown spotting means old blood is finally leaving the body. Unless you spot bright red and fill a pad within an hour, there isn't anything to worry about.
Follow your doctors advice and take it easy.
  • Yes! I had some light brown spotting for a couple days and my dr said it was old blood and it was most likely nothing of concern.

My symptoms were super strong during the beginning from my trigger shot until just after implantation. Now, all I feel is a pinch here or there. I will be 5 weeks on Monday so I am guessing it is only a matter of time before the morning sickness starts.

  • I conceived using clomid. I haven't had any spotting though.
Symptoms I am having are sore and tender breasts, some lower abd aches here and there, I am a little emotional here and there and some very mild nausea intermittently.
  • 3rd cycle with 3rd IUI. Clomid does not increase your risk of spotting though.
    Thank God for Raid.

  • I used clomid to get pregnant with my first, spotted around 5-6 weeks until about 10 weeks. This time, no clomid, I just tested positive 2 days ago and I'm spotting brown. Brown indicates old blood and isn't something to worry about unless you have a lot or it becomes red, or clotting. Try not to worry, for some pregnant women it's just normal.
