Help! - Women's Health Care - TGH or St Pete General?

Hi all,
We relocated to Bradenton, FL for my husband's job and I am 36 weeks pregnant!  I am hoping for a vaginal delivery and am rushing around to find the provider and hospital where we will deliver.
I had an appointment with Women's Health Care in St Petersburg and liked the midwife I saw.   Anyone have any experiences with Womens Health Care in St Pete or Tampa?

Also, would you recommend Tampa General Hospital or St Petersburg General Hospital?   We probably won't get to tour either hospital before my delivery.

Do both hospitals have:
intermittent fetal monitoring? tubs?  birthing balls? Are the staff supportive of a vaginal, unmedicated birth?

Also, what did you think of the OBGYN practice that backs up the midwives at Womens Health Care?

  • I had my son at Brandon, but given the choice of tgh or st joes i would go with st joes. Only because they are a specialty womens hospital they are amazing i have four friends have babies there and i was born there. One of my friends who were carrying twins her water broke at 16 weeks! They somehow were able to keep those babies in til 26 weeks those babies are now healthy and happy four year olds!
  • Oh you said st pete general i was thinking st josephs which is a like 8 miles north of tgh. Disregard im not familar with st pete hospital
